Dr Campbell with an update on excess deaths from various countries around the world – poor old Ireland has 20% excess deaths
Fun, or not so fun, fact. The UK has collected 10% more in inheritance tax than last year – an extra 400 million pounds for a total of 3.9 billion pounds for the current fiscal year.

Okay, editing the transcript a little, here’s some numbers.
Excess deaths have been high in Australia throughout 2021 2022 and now we're running at around
about 17% this is as of this date is always two or 3 weeks out of date of course but that's the latest we've got - so excess deaths in Australia round about 17% this is just an incredible amount
where is the outcry about this you might ask?
moving on in no particular order apart from alphabetical
Canada now we had been hopeful it looked like the number of deaths in Canada was lower than average for a period of time but now that's sort of settled and our world in data is now based on the human mortality database seems to be giving figures of about 12% excess deaths in Canada above
What we would expect and this has been higher in Canada all the way since that's the N percent line there this has been higher since 5th of January 2020 we would expected in the pandemic pic we would not expect it in Omicron we would not expect it in 2023 and yet we are seeing it at really high quite high levels um well over the 10% mark in Canada
this is uh Denmark again not quite as high in Denmark but we're still seeing round about 5% over what we would expect in Denmark at the current time but it has been fairly High only dipping below average very occasionally unfortunately and of course as you all know only too well now we would expect the excess mortality to be lower now because the vulnerable people died during the pandemic but it's not what we are seeing it is not what we are seeing
Ireland dear me Ireland 20% excess mortality at the moment in Ireland from the latest figures from the human mortality database illustrated by our world in data 20% excess deaths in Ireland very high a fifth higher than normal
Netherlands a bit lower around about I'd say about 8-9% there in the Netherlands but of course still higher and has been so that's the 31st of March 2022 so pretty well all of 2022 and into 2023 we are seeing excess deaths and of course very few of these deaths now are Covid the vast majority are not Covid anymore
this is New Zealand again round about 5% at the moment in New Zealand down quite dramatically but it's not long since it was over 20% in New Zealand and New Zealand peaking over 30% excess deaths this is just a horrendous level of excess deaths in New Zealand peaking over 30% excess deaths
why this isn't the front of the newspapers I don't know
Taiwan we included there 11% excess deaths and again it's been high throughout 2021 nearly all of well yeah all of 2022 and 2023 - much higher than we would expect in what is a sophisticated country - Taiwan
this is the United Kingdom ours are higher than we would like so the United Kingdom there're round about this latest is about 5% I would say there in the United Kingdom now I am pleased to say that the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics this week for example it's showing excess deaths round about where we would expect for the time of year but it has been higher and we've accumulated an awful lot of dead people sadly during this time and I know so many of you people that are bereaved of commented which I appreciate it's often quite moving to read the comments
this is the United States so excess deaths high again this is the human mortality database all the way
through from 2020 and now round about the 9% Mark as it has been throughout 2023 probably dipped down to about 8% there but these are more than we would expect in the United States
Australia again a very similar pattern very similar pattern in fact there's a lot of quite similar patterns in these countries as you no doubt noticed this is Australia here round about 15 16% excess deaths at the present time
so we see these excess deaths in uh in all these countries that we've that we've looked at.

Scoot down a few screens until you get to the chart – t the immediate3 left of the top right hand side of the chart corner you can select the country or countries you wish in the “Edit countries and regions” box.
I have picked Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US and show them chart below – you can slide the cursor over the lines in the chart to get the numbers (note these numbers are subject to all sorts of “vagaries” of the reporting quality and methods in each country).
Note the data can stop at some time in the past if no data has been supplied.

Didn't Insurance companies report a 40% increase in death claims in the U.S. in the spring of 2023, or thereabouts?
Increase in inheritance tax receipts. Now that's a data source I wouldn't have thought about.
