From the “I believe in free speech, but…” files - EU “Hate Speech” laws are not about “hate speech” to protect minorities – they are all about controlling free speech and shuttig down debate

Nobody can define what “hate speech” is. You cannot criminalize that which you cannot define, yet that is what the EU censorship laws do – and what is being attempted in Canada and Ireland.

This is what the “censorship operating system” of socialism. Unaccountable censorship. Authority without accountability = authoritarianism – automated by AI.

NGO’s (fringe groups formed to promote their own minority opinions) complain to the EU Commission who instructs social media companies to remove content. The actions do not approach the cuts, ever. No thresholds to prove criminal intent, leading to lower implicit thresholds.

A politician is responsible for the comments on their posts – hence can be censored and debate is shut down.
