Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court denies the ruling coalition government its plan to switch €60 billion unused C19 funds into “climate change funds” – government collapse and early elections???
From here:
“BERLIN — Germany’s highest court on Wednesday annulled a government decision to repurpose 60 billion euros ($65 billion) originally meant to cushion the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic for measures to help combat climate change and modernize the country. The ruling created a significant new problem for Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s quarrelsome coalition.”
A significant problem is not the half of it.
Here is the current make up of the German parliament the Bundestag.
Government (417) – made up of SPD (207) Greens (118) FDP (92)
Opposition (319) - made up of CDU (152) CSU (45) AfD (78)
Non-attached (44) made up of The Left (28) Ind. (14) AfD (1) SSW (1)
Next elections are not due for 2 years.
The German economy has GDP activity of around €4 trillion and it operates something called a “debt brake” (Republicans take note!!) of 0.35% of GDP – written into law in 2009 to prevent large increases in unfunded government spending (and debt).
“The debt brake (German: Schuldenbremse) is a fiscal rule that was enacted in 2009 in Germany. The law, which is in Article 109, paragraph 3 and Article 115 of the Basic Law, Germany's constitution, is designed to restrict structural budget deficits at the Federal level and limit the issuance of government debt.” – taken from here: Debt brake (Germany) - Wikipedia
That 0.35% works out at around €14 billion.
Along with every other country defrauded by the C19 scamdemic, Germany borrowed “LARGE” and blew a hole right through the debt brake, running deficits of almost 5% of GDP in 2020 (it was in SURPLUS in 2019!!!), sipping to below 4% in 2021 and under 3% on 2022.
However, outside that, the German government provisioned this €60 billion “rainy covid fund”. It thought what a great idea to repurpose that money to lots of “net zero” bogus climate change funds.
The Federal court said “Nein”.
Back to the Stars and Striped article linked above:
“Scholz, Lindner and Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, a Green party member who is also the economy and climate minister, sought to show unity after the ruling, pledging at a joint appearance to examine it carefully. Scholz said that the government aims to “quickly rework” plans for the climate fund.”
One of the coalition government partners the FDP – with 92 seats in the Bundestag – is a strong believe it fiscal rectitude and the debt brake.
A cynic (like me) would say that the plan to switch the C19 funds to climate change “net zero” project funds was always the intention – as it fits with the declaration of the next Public Health Emergency of International Concern – CLIMATE CHANGE!!! – to be declared sometime over 2024/2025. The coalition Government thought no-one would kick up a fuss. Luckily for Germany an opposition party – the CDU – cried “foul”
Politicians will politic assisted by the propaganda arm of the Cult of Moloch – and the Court decision might just precipitate an early election -accelerating the ousting of a deeply unpopular and mentally unstable coalition of opposites.

Explainer: How budget ruling will affect German finances, coalition | Reuters
“However, Wednesday's ruling looks set to force the coalition to now additionally account for the 60 billion euros, requiring it to cut back spending elsewhere given the junior coalition Free Democrats (FDP) party has ruled out tax hikes during this legislative period.
WHAT WILL THE IMPACT BE ON RULING COALITION?
The ruling is expected to heighten tensions in Scholz's already fractious three-way coalition, which has seen support slump since taking office nearly two years ago as it tackles a series of crises, in part due to public infighting.
Just a third of voters would vote for the parties of the coalition if elections were to be held now, according to the latest survey by pollster Forsa.
Several FDP lawmakers have in recent months called for the party, which has fallen out of several state parliaments in regional elections over the past year, to leave the coalition.
Meanwhile, demands from the Greens to reform the debt brake to enable more investment after years of neglect are likely to pick up, clashing with the FDP's insistence on sticking to the rules and remaining fiscally cautious.”
Here’s an idea. Cut the contributions to the UN and WHO AND cancel all C19 mRNA “vaccine” orders, masks and other crap associated with the scamdemic! Fire up those nuclear reactor and hydrocarbon fuel power stations again while you are at it!
Here’s a snippet from a take from another SubStacker:
“For my entire life, German governments have lit money on fire with great abandon. The pandemic was a particularly insane period of spending. Among the final acts in this spree was a supplementary budget pushed through by Merkel’s government in April 2021, allocating an additional 60 billion Euros for pandemic extravagances. The money was to come from debt, and it ought to have violated our constitutional debt ceiling rules. Because Covid qualified as a scary emergency, however, these rules did not apply.”

Did I miss something here? Germany went big into subsidized solar (something of a joke in their gloomy winter and rainy days). 7 or 8 years later, a survey reported they gained nothing, zero, zip. Using the same or even more energy as they had prior to that initiative. Now they are planning to move away from expensive and inefficient windmills. What can these govt officials possibly be thinking?
