History is replete with turning points – when the status quo only harms those who live under it – Neil Oliver delivers a powerful and stirring monologue that will make him the target of the State
His message resonates like the tolling of a huge bell atop a mountain
First a tribute to Neil’s fellow Scot – the movie might have contained multiple historical inaccuracies but its message was clear:
Some centuries later, Oliver Cromwell had a similar message about the status quo when he abolished the UK parliament, opening his speech with these words in 1653:
“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonoured by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.”
Americans overthrew their own status quo and created a Declaration of Independence and Constitution that has been the envy of the world for centuries. It contains these words:
“.. whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends [life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness], it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government.”
These constitutional rights have been somewhat tempered by laws around sedition and treason!
So, with all that in mind, here is Neil Oliver’s 11 minute video that reminds us that each individual is sovereign and is not owned by any government – individuals can only be governed by CONSENT not coercion - and that governments need to either be reminded of this, or removed from government.
Neil begins with the tragic tale of a 19 year old who desperately wanted to live, but was killed by the UK’s national health “rules and regulations” who simply wanted her to accept her death. Ironically, her potential life-saving treatment was in that bastion of assisted suicide, Canada.
Here’s a few comments taken from around the 2 minute mark to give you a taste.
“this is where we are now confronted at every turn by an over Mighty overweaning state that has assumed the ultimate power over Sovereign individuals
somewhere along the line at some point most of us overlooked myself included
Sovereign Britain was subverted or otherwise replaced by corporate Britain in which a board of corporate types assumes the authority to make all decisions on our behalf I see this is unlawful in every way that matters
it's also monstrous and just plain wrong
too few people know or remember far less celebrate what it is to be Sovereign
we're not taught any of this at school which is hardly surprising given the recent context but the truth is that we are born Sovereign and to be Sovereign is to have absolute authority over our own bodies
we are subject to the common law of the land which we break only when we harm others damage their property steal what is not ours or behave fraudulently in our dealings with others
every other attempt by the state to interfere with our freedom to go about our lives unmolested is the stuff of Statute which is the legislation acts and bills drawn up and passed by parliament
legislation has power over us only if we consent to it”
Stirring stuff!
As with most radical thoughts, the mountain of apathy and inertia in society is a huge barrier to overcome to enact change for the better.
Perhaps we, as the human race, are closer now than we have been since World War 2 to dispense with the status quo.
Millions around the world have been killed and hundreds of millions, if not billions have been maimed by their own politicians seeking permanent power, rather than consent whilst acknowledging their transient status.
Onwards!

A friend said he prefers to float above everything -and not judge. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. As a Christian (and not just Christians) you are emphatically to judge right from wrong.
I await his response.
btw Cromwell was hardly a deliverer of freedom -just ask the Irish!
Neil Oliver is amazing!
Good news from Chinada: we shall have our country back. Our wonderful Muslim community made it clear: Mr Trudeau, you attack our kids... you will need another place to live... the schools, er, i mean, Indoctrination Centres, must and Will concede that the state does not own children.
Another blow against the thin skull of globalism and its innocent cousin, woke-based depopulation WEF agenda.
