Federal budget 2022: Covid vaccine claims scheme payouts rise to $77m | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site

“The table reveals that in 2021-22, the Covid vaccine claims scheme paid out just $937,000 — which would work out to about 47 people if they each received the maximum tier-one amount of $20,000.
But in 2022-23, that amount is estimated to blow out to $76.9 million, equating to 3845 tier-one claims.”
On a pro-rata basis $76.9m/$937,000 = 2,078 then times the 47 for 2021-22 = more than 97,500 claims if each gets the MAXIMUM $20,000 tier one amount. Probably an average claim might be half the maximum, so double the number of claims - which = 195,000. There are 136,000 “cases” lodged on the Australian Adverse Event reporting system. Maybe the under-reporting factor is NOT the 40 worked out elsewhere? Certainly the reporting system itself is excellent. The rate of reporting to that system? I have no idea!
63,914,491 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been given to Australians
>95% of people aged 16 and over have had their first dose
>95% of people aged 16 and over have had their second dose
The Australian Vaccine Claims scheme covers losses or expenses of $1,000 and above due to administration of a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine, or due to an adverse event that is recognised to be caused by a COVID-19 vaccination.
The TGA has an adverse reporting system for the 5 approved C-19 injections here:
Database of Adverse Event Notifications (tga.gov.au)

The adverse reporting system itself is the best in the world!
You will need to consent on the splash page, then type in “covid” in the “Select Medicine” box, select all 5 brands, overtype the date entries on the “Select Date Range”
Right now, there are 136,361 cases with 941 deaths.
Full numbers of each symptom, including fatalities per symptom are listed below.
If only other adverse reporting systems were as useful and available in all countries!
Who values life at $20K, that's an insult. Let's start at $5mill per death and negaotiate up from there. 'The adverse reporting system is the best in the world'....seriously, are you from the govt and are here to help us?
I don't think they care about paying out compensation. They might even be laughing. After all money is just pieces of paper, digits on the screen. They're soon going to bring us into the CBDC system and they'll turn us all back to Zero
