Judicial Watch obtains 552 pages of documents that prove Fauci knew about Gain of Function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology

Judicial Watch filed this FOIA request, back in December 2021 – 18 months ago.

“All reports submitted by EcoHealth Alliance to NIH or its sub-agencies related to NIH Grant No. 1R01A|110964 titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” during the term of the grant.”

HHS and NIH stonewalled this information, of the illegal use of taxpayer funds for all those 198 months. Both are accessories after the fact for paying for gain of function research at the time it was banned by Obama in the US – so they pay for gain of function research elsewhere and claimed that it wasn’t gain of function research.

Fauci was deeply embroiled and these documents prove he lied to Congress.

Judicial Watch: Records Show Funding for EcoHealth/Wuhan Institute Research to Create Coronavirus ‘Mutants’ | Judicial Watch

“Judicial Watch announced today it received 552 pages of records from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) which include the initial grant application and annual reports to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from EcoHealth Alliance, describing the aim of its work with the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China to create mutant viruses “to better predict the capacity of our CoVs [coronaviruses] to infect people.”

“HHS records revealed that from 2014 to 2019, $826,277 was given to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research by the NIAID.”

That is what was reported to HHS. Regular readers will recall this article:

Quite the cookie jar of tax-payer dollars that EcoHealth Alliance gorged itself on.

It looks to me that these are NOT research grants - they represent the personal expenses of Daszak - less what he had to pay to maintain some sem -lance of doing “research” my bet - 50% to the DoD subcontractor for personal purposes, 50% for a facade that just happened to deal in deadly pathogens.

HHS, NIH plus EcoHealth Alliance – all in possession of these facts FOR YEN YEARS in contravention of the Obama Executive Order in 2014 covering activities in the US that prohibited gain of function research into the development of killer diseases, before its resumption under Trump in 2017.

So, for a period of 3 years, 2014-2017, gain of function research was banned in the US, leading to its transfer to overseas locations like China and probably Ukraine – via EcoHealth Alliance and Metabiota – in order to bypass US laws and regulations.

Back to the Judicial Watch Press Release.

“Eco Health planned to sequence the spike protein from coronaviruses obtained from bats for the purpose of “creating mutants to identify how significantly each would need to evolve to use ACE2,” which is explained as “the receptor to gain entry to human cells.”

“An EcoHealth Alliance grant application, received by the NIH on June 5, 2013, includes a list of “Senior/Key Personnel” including Shi Zhengli and Zhang Yun-Zhi of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV); Peter Daszak, CEO of EcoHealth Alliance; and other Chinese scientists, including Ke Changwen of the Chinese “CDC and Prevention of Guangdong Province.”

The 2013 year is before the Obama moratorium commencement of 2014.

Here are the references to Fauci and, surprise, surprise, a reference to Bill Gates:

“NIH records showed an FBI “inquiry” into the NIH’s controversial bat coronavirus grant tied to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The records also show National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) officials were concerned about “gain-of-function” research in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2016. The Fauci agency was also concerned about EcoHealth Alliance’s lack of compliance with reporting rules and use of gain-of-function research in the NIH-funded research involving bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, China.”

Note the reference to 2016 – within the 3 year 2014-2017 moratorium begin by Obama and ended by Trump.

“HHS records included an “urgent for Dr. Fauci ” email chain, citing ties between the Wuhan lab and the taxpayer-funded EcoHealth Alliance. The government emails also reported that the foundation of U.S. billionaire Bill Gates worked closely with the Chinese government to pave the way for Chinese-produced medications to be sold outside China and help “raise China’s voice of governance by placing representatives from China on important international counsels as high level commitment from China.”
