Londoners within a whisker of open rebellion against bogus/bogey green policies that do nothing to improve air quality - costing families thousands - at a time of high inflation – from green energy
As goes Utah and Oregon, so goes London – if ULEZ works, Londoners will have to pay more in road tax
Remember this from last month?
“Utah and Oregon realised that EV’s don’t buy gas and use roads – so, they have moved to compel the installation of GPS trackers in EV’s so they cab be billed for road usage.”
Breitbart comments:
“Now, I understand why state governments want to stop electric vehicle owners from skirting the taxes that maintain roads. Additionally, electric vehicles, due to the excess weight of their battery, do more damage to roads over time. What bothers me is the GPS system.”
Now for London, from here:
Ulez updates: Sadiq Khan says charge could INCREASE as Mayor ignores growing fury (gbnews.com)
“Sadiq Khan has warned that the expanded Ultra Low Emission Zone charge could increase, despite mounting fury over the levy.
The London Mayor has faced backlash after expanding the £12.50 to cover all of Greater London. But he has now suggested that the tariff could increase in price.”
The mayor has yet to realise that if everyone switched to heavier EV’s ,London’s roads would deteriorate far quicker than currently, nor has he suggested installing “smart meters” in all cars to make up for falls in road tax avoided by EV’s or included in fuel duties. But he did say this:
“He said that as drivers convert to cleaner travel, fuel duty is going to dry up and "fuel cells are going to drive up road tax and so forth", hence road charging is always subject to change.
Londoners are rebelling and the anti-white, racist Mayor is facing an increasingly violent rebellion against his ignorant stance.

I suspect this will move from a protest and minor physical damage into full blown street riots if the mayor persists with his belligerent, pointless and regressive tax that disproportionately’ and increasingly impacts the poorest.
This is yet another cost of bogus/booger green policies designed to meet UN climate change goals. Electricity and natural gas prices have doubled by a few thousand pounds a year FOR NO GOOD REASON.
This will have made the average Londoner not working in the City on a six-seven figure salary, around 30% worse off in just the last 3 years. Criminal, but.. coming to cities around the world.
Can you imagine having to slash spending at home by 30% to make ends meet, starting from a tight budget already?
Many people may not know this, but if the buildings in London were removed, there are so many trees, London would be a forest. Similarly, the air in London ranks amongst the cleanest of all world cities and most countries.
The dirtiest air in London is found in its Underground Tube transit system, run by the Mayor, which operates mostly unventilated or air conditioned trains that are packed like sardines during rush hour. A team of experts hired by the Mayor said that the reductions in emissions from the imposition of ULEZ would be negligible.
FactCheck: will ULEZ expansion to outer London improve air quality? – Channel 4 News
“But research by the mayor’s own office and TfL predicts the latest expansion will only have “minor” and “negligible” effects on two key types of air pollution.
And, based on the mayor’s data, FactCheck calculates that the expanded ULEZ would add just 13 minutes to the life expectancy of the average Londoner in 2023.”
So, rather than giving up on an expensive idea that targets the wrong source of emissions – its own transport system – and which does nothing for anyone, the bigoted mayor is doubling down.
“Mr Khan said: "It's not inconceivable [that] in the future at some date, the [Congestion] Charge could go up or down, ULEZ could go up or down, LEZ could go up or down, as it did in the past."
Pretty soon, it will be time to impeach!
“According to a Redfield and Wilton poll, the mayor's approval rating has dropped by 22 points since last June- falling to a meagre 5 per cent approval.”
Here’s a little more background.
Anyone using a “clunker” – typically defined as made before 2005 – must pay £12.50 per day. You can check more details of liability here: Ultra Low Emission Zone - Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk)
Pity all the vintage and classic car enthusiasts right? Eight year old cars are generally pretty good with few running problems or emissions, but now someone using such a car every day will have to pay 4,550 pounds a year – AND if you don’t pay the daily charge, you will have to pay a fine of £160 pounds (200 bucks) which halves if you pay within two weeks.
More here: ULEZ Frequently Asked Questions - ULEZ Check
Note that the ULEZ fee is IN ADDITION TO the so called “congestion charge” which is ANOTHER 15 pounds a day. So in all, if someone commutes to London by car every working day, there is an annual cost of around 8,500 pounds. Not tax deductible for the individual of course.

It’s all about making money for the govt and the crooked politicians.
