Passing observations on the George Floyd saga
Let’s start with a qualification. To the racist bigots in BLM, its starting attitude towards me, as an old white man, is that I am a racist bigot. So there is that.
Right. So on the off chance that anyone is in the slightest bit interested in my observations and opinions – let’s dive in!
As a backdrop, Goon squad member, anti-Jewish - Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) proponent - vote buying and brother marrying (to contravene immigration laws) Ilhan Ohmar, is the Representative for the 5th District of Minnesota. How’s that for an unbiased portrayal!

Any scepticism I might have about the 250,000 votes out of around 560,000 eligible voters Omar garnered in the 2020 election coinciding with the 25% postal vote plus suspicions of vote buying probably does not appreciate the awesome personality and canvassing ability of the Democratic Party machine, right?
I am probably too far immersed in my views that the Maoist/Marxist/Cult of Moloch is embedded in the Democratic Party to the detriment of all that it touches. Not even reasonable and good people like RFK jr. can live in that toxic environment.
Ok, that’s my “baggage”, now, from here:
Background Check: Investigating George Floyd’s Criminal Record | Snopes.com
This meme was declared false. I have a view, though I don’t have any idea, one way or the other:
No doubt, the truth is out there. Certainly Floyd was apprehended for passing a counterfeit 20 dollar bill.
Maybe this story is false as well (the Sun is a UK tabloid):
What drugs did George Floyd have in his system? | The US Sun (the-sun.com)
“Under “other significant conditions” the office said Floyd suffered from heart disease and hypertension. It also listed fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use, as well as being positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus. However, those factors were not listed under cause of death.
The attorney for officer Thomas Lane, Earl Gray, pointed to police body cam footage to claim that it appeared Floyd swallowed "2 milligrams of fentanyl," while getting arrested, calling it "a lethal dose." Gray claimed that Floyd swallowed the drugs while officers were attempting to take him into custody – pointing to a white spot on Floyd's tongue which, Gray claims, disappeared in the bodycam footage.”
"Given his intoxication level, breathing would have been difficult at best. Mr. Floyd’s intentional failure to obey commands, coupled with his overdosing, contributed to his own death."
Well, that is as may be. I have not watched any of the recent Tucker Carlson footage, but I wanted to raise these points:
From here:
“The City of Minneapolis agreed on Friday to pay $27 million to the family of George Floyd, the Black man whose death set off months of protests after a video showed a white police officer kneeling on his neck.”
27 million bucks that, if one side of the story is to be believed, was compensation to the family of a violent felon arrested for engaging in a criminal act and in possession and having consumed a Schedule 2 drug. (I had no idea that bath salts were a Schedule 1 drug- shows how much I know!).
Back in 2021, Minneapolis had around 4,000 homeless people, 800 living on the street. Enquiring minds want to know why Floyd’s life had such a high value, whilst that issue existed at the time and under direct control of the City of Minneapolis? How much does the City pay to take care of its homeless that would not be boosted by funds of this size?
George Floyd: Jury finds Derek Chauvin guilty of murder - BBC News
Let’s leave aside the number of equivalent crimes that resulted in successful prosecutions for second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter that Chavin was sentenced 22 years and six months for – over the decades. Not many (none?) of these resulted in compensation for the families of victims where police/City employees were involved or were pursued for millions in compensation as a civil action. I doubt it would have crossed many of the minds of the families of the victims to seek such compensation beyond the legal process of “crime and punishment”.
In Minnesota, second-degree murder carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison. Third-degree murder is punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Second-degree manslaughter is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. (So Chauvin could have received 75 years?).
Of note, let’s not forget this, from that NYT article:
“The payment to settle the family’s lawsuit was among the largest of its kind, and it came as the officer, Derek Chauvin, was set to go on trial this month for charges including second-degree murder. As the settlement was announced by city officials and lawyers for Mr. Floyd’s family, Mr. Chauvin sat in a courtroom less than a mile away, where jurors were being selected for his trial.”
The settlement of the Floyd family lawsuit was made BEFORE the Chauvin trial.
And of course, the City and all its residents had riots to clean up after – riots incited and inspired by the activities of the racist bigots in BLM.
Now, I am a cynic and a white racist, so take this comment with that in mind. “Enquiring minds want to know how many millions were kicked back to the (NLM supporting and activist?) City councillors that settled the damages in the law suit at 27 million bucks, rather than the (two cents?) or half a million maximum that Floyd would ever have contributed in terms of emotional and financial support to his family?”.
The cynic in me thinks that the Minneapolis City Council is part of the BLM manifestation of the Marxist/Maoist/Cult of Moloch – a nihilist, racist criminal racket profiting from lowering the living standards of all those not in the Cult.
Why haven’t the perpetrators and instigators of the riots (BLM) been arrested and sued for the dead and injured and the billions for property damage?
“Dozens of people were killed or injured in the violent unrest, and thousands of businesses and properties, many minority-owned, were looted, torched, or otherwise vandalized. Only now are we beginning to realize the full cost of the destruction. New reporting from Axios reveals that the total insured property losses incurred during the George Floyd riots will come in at $1 billion to $2 billion.”
