Clash of the morons – German “greens” about to destroy 120,000 trees In a forest full of bio diversity to erect a forest full of 100 storey tall wind turbines
On the left is an image pf a wind farm – on the right the forest that is being cut down to make way for it. I could not find images of wind turbines covered I first ad sow or operatig ina hurricane!
Here is a link to an article published I the UK’s Daily Express:
120,000 trees at, say, 60 trees an acre in a wild forest = the new “wind farm” - or rather “wind slum” - of around 2.000 acres = just over 3 square miles. Large wind turbines need to be space at least a mile apart, so we may be talking about just 9 of the tallest turbines!
Now, on the one hand there are EU policies on “re-wilding” – policies that throw farmers of their land. This from February 2024.
The new law sets a target for the EU to restore at least 20% of the EU’s land and sea areas by 2030 and all ecosystems in need of restoration by 2050. The EU nature restoration law, agreed with member states, will restore degraded ecosystems in all member states, help achieve the EU’s climate and biodiversity objectives and enhance food security.
2040 is just over 5 years away. To get to the target one assumes that 4% per annum AT LEAST is required.
Enter Ralf Paschold, a “wind energy entrepreneur” and his whizzy plan to create a view of an ugly farm of wind turbines. Here’s some contact details.

“Conservationists in Germany are incensed as 120,000 trees in an ancient forest have started to be felled in order to make way for a wind farm.”
David Blackmon covers the story here:
I have posted a few articles about how these turbines decimate flying critters onshore and the effects on marine life offshore. Most recently I penned an article on how the foundation needed to support these monstrosities poisons aquifers. The vibrations are not pleasant, and neither is the strobing effect of shadows.
A lot of infrastructure is required to access the wind farms and transmit the electricity, then of course there are issues “sensationalized” n web sites like this:
Here’s a link to a website that shows how tall these wind turbines are getting:
How Tall Are Wind Turbines? - Renewable Systems
It shows this list of the five most common wind turbines:
Yep, you read that right. The tallest ne on that list is 260 metres or 850 feet.
Lots more detail on “issues” on that site.

Wind Turbine Foundation: 5 Foundation Types Explained (steelwindtower.com)
“The average wind tower height on earth is around 90m – 130m.” – call it 120 metres which is around 400 feet.
From here:
How High Is A Story? - Size-Charts.com - When size matters
400 feet is the equivalent of a 65-storey building. Maybe the objective is to create these wind turbine forests and then build 15-minute cities on them when they fail or become obsolete (in about three years!).
Developments are afoot!

How Big Is The Concrete Foundation For A Wind Turbine? - UtilitySmarts
“… with a height of 500 meters nearly a third of a mile and 57 meters higher than the Empire State Building a group of six institutions led by University of Virginia experts is designing the world’s tallest wind turbine.”
Most regulations require a one-mile space between wind turbines – but you can see that these things are monstrous in height.
So, bow we get to the concrete foundations required to support the 50-100 story tall turbines.
There are five main types of foundations for land-based wind turbines. From here:

With some numbers on concrete needed here:
But for land-based wind turbines, from here:
How Big Is The Concrete Foundation For A Wind Turbine? - UtilitySmarts
The article talks about concrete needed for these sorts of turbines. “Turbines are much bigger now than they were 15 or 20 years ago. Wind farm towers vary in size, but most are roughly 70 meters tall and have blades that are about 50 meters long.”
“The vast concrete foundations that keep wind turbine towers erect are, however, hidden from view below ground. These poured-in-place foundations are 10-20 feet thick, 60 feet in diameter, weigh about two million pounds, and take 40 truckloads of concrete, or around 400 cubic yards, to construct.”
All that concrete stays in the ground – they go down around 100 feet – rendering the earth itself unusable forever. It is not just the above ground windmills that destroy the surrounding environment and eco systems.
“Because cement, a fundamental ingredient in concrete, generates a lot of CO2, all that concrete, which stays in the ground even after the wind turbines are deactivated, is silently compounding the climate issue.”
How many cubic miles of land are excavated and have been excavated to produce that concrete (and build all the access roads to the wind farm?
A battle of the green morons, destroying the planet with the “faux science” of their Cult.
All this BS is rolling out across the planet – its scale is horrific – destroying nature to build obsolete slums of wind turbines.
Same goes for plantations of solar panels that destroy cast swathes of natural habitat – in direct conflict with “rewilding” regulations of shiny trousered bureaucrats.
Onwards!
