Some potentially great news about gene editing tool, CRISPR, to cure a rare skeletal-muscle cancer
( have been wondering for some time why there is not a bright side to all the “gain of function” research and how gene editing could be used to snip out bad cells – maybe even nanobot technology that can be excreted once the bots have done good things.
Well, here’s a link to some possible ground breaking developments using the gene editor CRISPR.
From here:
CRISPR used to 'reprogram' cancer cells into healthy muscle in the lab | Live Science
“In a new study, stopping skeletal-muscle cancer cells from making a specific protein forced them to turn into healthy muscle cells.”
Cancerous skeletal muscle cells turned into healthy muscle cells by preventing the cancer cells making a protein! Let’s hope it doesn’t turn into something like that Dolly the Sheep clone dying prematurely.
“Although the research is still in its early days, this process of "resetting" cancer cells into healthy cells, broadly known as differentiation therapy, has already been tested in other types of cancer, such as bone and blood cancer. Four drugs have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat the latter disease and generally work by inhibiting a specific protein in the cancer cells.”
My non-scientific and tiny understanding of CRISPR gene editing pictures this process as like a vasectomy that snips the link, so to speak.
Here's a link to an article on nano-bots and cancer cells:
Curing Cancer with Nanobots: Can Nanorobots Kill Cancerous Cells? (scienceabc.com)
“Research conducted at Arizona State University with the help of a mouse tumor model showed precisely how nanobots can kill cancer cells. These nanobots were made from DNA nanostructures (DNA that is folded in order to measure 90nm) along with the blood-clotting enzyme thrombin.
The nanobots targeted a protein called nucleolin, which is found only on the surface of cancer cells. After attachment to the cancer cell, the nanobots release thrombin into the cell. This cuts off the blood supply to the cancer cells, thus destroying the tumor. The nanobots work fast and in huge numbers, completely surrounding the tumor. The experiment was successful and drastically shrunk the tumor, leaving the healthy cells unaffected.“
You would think that there is some sort of crossover between the two that will yield a cure for cancer AND for the diseases caused by the C19 spike protein.
Then there are “organoids” which might soon provide a complete replacement for diseased vital organs – perhaps needed to correct organ damage from spike proteins by replacing those organs entirely. So far it looks like only replacement tissue can be built.
Organoids | Nature Reviews Methods Primers
“Organoids are simple tissue-engineered cell-based in vitro models that recapitulate many aspects of the complex structure and function of the corresponding in vivo tissue. They can be dissected and interrogated for fundamental mechanistic studies on development, regeneration and repair in human tissues, and can also be used in diagnostics, disease modelling, drug discovery and personalized medicine. “
“,, there have been numerous tissue engineering attempts to mimic the stem cell niche in vitro to achieve high spatio-temporal control over cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions and reproduce mechano-chemical cues using engineered hydrogels and micro-devices3,4”
Well, lots of warning words there, nano bots that fold folded DNA and “mechano-chemical cues engineered using hydrogels and micro-devices”!!!!
Micro-devices that aren’t nano=bots?
Hydrogels?
Explainer: What is a hydrogel? (snexplores.org)
“Liquid water trapped in tangled polymers gives this material strangely useful properties.”
Where have we heard that term before?
Hydrogels for RNA delivery | Nature Materials
“RNA-based therapeutics have shown tremendous promise in disease intervention at the genetic level, and some have been approved for clinical use, including the recent COVID-19 messenger RNA vaccines. “
Fingers crossed there is light shining through the darkness and a benevolent evolution of science that improves health will soon replace the malevolent use of science as a weapon of war.
Onwards!

The reductionist system of health has failed over and over again. Especially related to cancer. It seems somehow wrong to just cross fingers and hope the last century of harming people for profit, and actively suppressing effective health options has somehow morphed into genuine research to benefit humanity. For Cancer, I suggest looking to preventative measures which are much simpler, easier, cheaper and provable in practice. Stop the childhood immunisation schedule as a priority.
