The EU agrees a “pact” to handle thousands of economic migrants – whilst millions queue up to make it unworkable – and how British people might become the first country to have their energy rationed
The EU has just passed immigration laws that will likely cause another surge of millions of economic migrants into the EU.
“In the end, every element passed, to the undisguised relief of the mainstream groups – many of whose MEPs had confessed to personal misgivings about some of the harsher measures in the pact, but backed it as an overall improvement.”
“With more than 46,000 people entering the EU via irregular migration routes so far this year alone, and an estimated 400 dying while doing so, some kind of new collective plan was desperately needed to replace a decade of go-it-alone responses.”
That 36,000 is going to be a low-ball number. On top of that, any pact with rules will be ripe for exploitation by human traffickers who know just how to get around them.
Expect a surge running to millions of economic migrants to cross into the EU -even via Ukraine int Poland in the coming years.
All the bleeding-heart liberals being used by the EU’s radical socialist parties to retain power are about to be ejected in elections across the EU’s national governments. These radical socialists had this last chance to further bankrupt their countries and pile them further into debt via welfare spending on foreigners – so grabbed the chance to agree a “pact” that no-one likes and will be used to evict socialist incumbents (who are trying to portray any opposition as “far right” when it is in fact only a little right of centre).
EU socialists think that any alternative is “insurrection” of their “right to govern” without challenge.
A segue into David Miliband. His (ex-?) employer did not like it much – far too “harsh”.
“More than 160 rights organisations, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the International Rescue Committee, also denounced the pact, arguing it would lead to greater suffering, less protection and more rights violations.”
“David Miliband was the Member of the Parliament (Labour) for South Shields in North East England from 2001 to 2013. He is currently the president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee (“IRC”). IRC is officially a global humanitarian aid, relief and development non-governmental organisation. The reality is it has, historically at least, close ties to the intelligence community.”

No doubt lots of links to other groups like the UN’s International Organization for Migration specializing in “doing a little good for some” whilst making a ton of money out of others.
A quick side note – the labour Shadow minister for Industry and Decarbonisation (joint with Energy Security and Net Zero) Is not a Milliband but is Justin Madders. Well, according to tis site it is: He will be the government minister in a few months – barring a miracle recovery by the ruling Conservative Party (who will be lucky to get 100 seats out of 650 up for grabs). The Labour Party of clowns, fools and Marxists is about to win a landslide election, maybe with 500 seats from its current 200 UT of 650.
Okay, o to a blast from the past and how David Miliband’s carbon credit card “skeleton in the closet” might soon be dragged out and given some flesh.
Expose-news.com posted an interesting article linked below:
“An article published by The Guardian in 2006 described the then UK Environment Secretary David Miliband’s attempt to issue every UK citizen with a carbon “credit card” – that would be swiped every time we bought petrol, paid an energy utility bill or booked an airline ticket – under a nationwide carbon rationing scheme that could come into operation within five years.”
How likely is this scheme to be resurrected? Well. My bet is that it will be in one form or another.
“David is the elder son of the late Marxist sociologist Ralph Miliband. His younger brother Ed Miliband was the Labour Party leader between 2010 and 2015. Ed has been the Member of Parliament for Doncaster North (Labour) since 2005.”
Marxism is in his blood.
“In 2006, he pioneered the world’s first legally binding emissions reduction requirements. In the same year, The Guardian published an interview with David which we have reproduced below. You will instantly recognise the plan, publicised over 17 years ago, as the same that that independent media and citizen journalists have been highlighting in recent years.”
The following was originally published by The Guardian on 11 December 2006.
“Every citizen would be issued with a carbon “credit card” – to be swiped every time they bought petrol, paid an energy utility bill or booked an airline ticket – under a nationwide carbon rationing scheme that could come into operation within five years, according to a feasibility study commissioned by the environment secretary, David Miliband, and published today.”
The justification for the creation of a “carbon credit card”? Well, it seems that a national supermarket chain had (and still has) such a lot of success with its Tesco Clubcard processing 50 billion transactions a year, that it is a natural progression for a carbon credit card.
Behind the scheme lies a rationing system. You will get allocated a set carbon/energy budget – if you overspend you have to buy more credits – from those that underuse their ration.
Guess what will happen? Quite aside from fake credits being created so they ca be sold in the “blackout market” – the poor will deprive themselves to earn more money – you know the elderly, the sick and the unemployable.
I imagine that weekend jaunts to the continent would boom – four weekends = 8 days abroad using no energy = a 26% reduction in the usual peak usage at weekends!
Imagine the wheeling and dealing amongst schoolkids and students! They must be entitled to carbon credit cards too, right?
Would foreign visitors get a carbon credit card when they arrive? Maybe a foreign family of four could sell its energy ratio to desperate Brits for 50 centimes in the Euro!
Amazing logic. All the imported goods into the UK will not be subject to energy rationing. So, all the energy intensive industries will simply migrate offshore where the lunacy has not been enacted. All the imported goods which have bee made with a massive “carbo footprint” and high energy will be exempt from any UK energy rationing.
So, out of the (cheap hydrocarbon) frying pan and into the (horribly expensive and rationed “green” electricity) fire. Even now, electricity generated with a chunk of “renewables” is FIVE times the price of natural gas – it will only get more expensive for as long as the renewable energy transition escalates.
I wonder why renewable energy is not free.

Interestingly there is a notion to fine any EU country that fails to take a migrant .. to the sum of 20,000 euros per person.
So my thought is what happens when these newly placed Europeans then decide they want to cross over to the Uk which is non European.. are we also going to be allowed to fine the European government 20,000 for each migrant that illegally enters Britain?… because we should… we really should.
