My take? There are nihilists embedded in the EU, like AntiFa, whose sole intent is to cause civil war. The reason for the “carbon tax” is simple. The EU is bankrupt and either collapses, bringing down every country, or it raises taxes to impossible levels to support “woke” socialist policies that are responsible for causing the bankruptcy of the EU. “Tax and spend” as a political dogma has simply run out of other people’s money.
