“In Q4 2022, typical mid-priced ICE car drivers paid about $11.29 to fuel their vehicles for 100 miles of driving. That cost was around $0.31 cheaper than the amount paid by mid-priced EV drivers charging mostly at home, and over $3 less than the cost borne by comparable EV drivers charging commercially.”
And that with massive subsidies for “green” energy and massive taxes on hydrocarbon fuels. Imagine if the true market cost for gas (one third the present cost) and “green” energy (double the cost) were In place!

A second Austin-built Model Y, involved in a side collision and listed by IAA, had a retail price of $72,667 and an estimated repair cost of $43,814.”

To add on the pile: Norway recently outlawed EVs on ferries due to the catastrophic danger they pose. Some multi-level (or underground) carparks have prohibited EVs for the same reason. Watch these restrictions spread quicker than TurboCancer, once a couple of expensive insurance claims erupt.
The idea EVs would somehow Save The World is like the 'Safe & Effective' mantra. Faith, not science or fact.
Perhaps reality is staging a comeback against the utopian SDG's, Agenda 2023, et al.

This is true we had an electric Audi 2019 and our monthly electricity bill went from $600 to $1900 a month. We are back to gas only cars.
