UK to ban the export of Russian weapons used in Ukraine as Russians capture more territory in the Bakhmut region of north east Ukraine – one year anniversary of the invasion
From here:
UK issues export bans on every item used by Russia in war (msn.com)
Now, maybe I am a little off beam here, but since when did the UK export Russian weapons? Does it have a stockpile of them somewhere in the UK, or maybe Europe? But wait, there’s more!
"Military intelligence has shown that a shortage of components in Russia as a result of sanctions is already likely affecting their ability to produce equipment for export, such as armoured vehicles, attack helicopters and air defence systems," the Foreign Office said.”
Hmm. Does this mean that the UK has special forces or spies embedded close to or inside Russian weapons factories, monitoring component inventories for tanks and whether any are Russian or Chinese made (or Indian, Brazilian, Israeli or East European) made?
No matter, the UK thinks that the world should know it is stepping up its production of weapons for Ukraine in the video embedded in the linked article above “Britain Stepping Up Weapons Production To Help Ukraine Push Back Russian Forces | Russia Ukraine War (News18)”
In case anyone wants a map of how things are going in Ukraine, it might be worth checking this map out, from here:
Ukraine Interactive map - Ukraine Latest news on live map - liveuamap.com
Forces occupied by Russian troops and those of liberated states of eastern Ukraine are the ones shaded in pink on the right hand side - east.
How much is that? A quarter or a third of Ukraine now occupied by Russia?
If I were planning a defence of Ukraine, I would be worried about Odessa, the major port in the south west corner of Ukraine, from which exports use to emanate and the little sliver of pink called Transnistria that also speaks Russian. Of course, Belarus is a Russian ally and has already had more than a pop at Ukrainian forces in northern Ukraine.
If you want to know when the nukes start, check out any attempt by NATO allied forces to attack the Kaliningrad enclave on the Baltic coast.
One can only imagine how much further Russia would have penetrated into Ukraine without the billions upon billions of dollars of weapons and intelligence that the West had not supplied. Yards or miles, maybe.
There’s some pretty good reporting on the situation here:

And here:
Defense Politics Asia – Geopolitical And Defense Analysis + Reporting
Which has this story about Russian gains in the north east of Ukraine:

And this embedded video:
[ Bakhmut Front ] Wagner Forces captured Berkhivka and Yahidne - YouTube
All happened yesterday 23 February 2023 – including confirmation from Ukrainian forces with zero coverage from the western MSM.
Now you may be wondering how many weapons supplied by western Government are now in Russian hands or have been blown to bits. So would I, but you don’t need to know that because the west has not yet done fighting for Ukraine, to the last Ukrainian.
As an aside, Americans who happen to be black will not want to know about these sorts of reports about how valued their status and taxes are to the Ukraine government.
“Peace Corps positions in Ukraine are currently not open, but Black Peace Corps volunteers who applied were warned to be prepared to be called the N-word and face other racist behavior while in Ukraine, according guidance on the Peace Corps website that is currently being discussed on social media.”
I think LBGTQ++ are ok though. I hear there are highly placed Ukrainian who can play the piano with multiple body parts.
Onwards!

Crazy situation. Defense Politics Asia seems like a good site.
Thank you PH. More than 1 UK General on record as stating that the underfunding & lack of stocks would prevent the UK from even attempting to defend the UK. Never mind going to war in any other country.
The export ban is about par for the uselessness of the current govtards running the shitshow. More meaningless drivel rather than fix the fcukup that UK has become.
