Unused doses in the top 8 EU countries

A quick note on differences between the top 8 EU countries “vaccine” doses sent compared to how many does injected.

The table below shows that officials (politicians or bureaucrats) have vastly different numbers of doses shipped in v injected into arms.

These 8 countries represent 343 million out of the 444 million people in the EU (77%).

Enquiring minds might want to know why Poland and Spain have around 1,300 unused doses per 1,000 of their countries entire population, whilst Italy has just 260 and German around 550.

The Netherlands has almost 1,000 unused doses per 1,000 of its entire population and France has over 800.

No doubt the number of doses shipped is a function of EU Commission rulings and negotiations by national governments in the EU.

Notes:

·        This is not the number of doses actually purchased by each country, it represents doses shipped to that country v doses administered in that country

·        This does not reflect any doses donated or sold to other countries.

·        There are anomalies – comparing the weighted average of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th doses administered does not equal the number of doses administered at the total level, using same source data.

·        Belgium has administered more doses than it were shipped to that country

At the EU level, there have been 1.31 billion doses distributed with 930 million doses administered, leaving 380 million doses to be accounted for. The US has distributed 883 million doses and administered 633 million, leaving 250 million doses to be accounted for. That sums to 630 million doses for the EU+US to be accounted for.
