Apparently - Under the Illegal Migration Act 2023, the Home Secretary has a legal duty to remove individuals who arrive in the UK irregularly (e.g., by small boat), and until removal is possible, they must be accommodated.
This means that criminals – including rapists, murderers etc can be placed at the whim of UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, wherever she chooses and her wishes supersede the wishes of the community who no longer receive the right to enjoy a peaceful and quiet life as UK citizens.
