Why the shock about the C19 Pfizer injection NOT preventing transmission?

read this pop in the BMJ https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4037 there are three end points - prevention of transmission was "N" this was known at the time of the clinical trials THIS WAS PUBLISHED ON 21 OCTOBER 2020 why the shock and outrage?

Interruption of transmission (person to person spread)NNNNNNN for ALL clinical trials, including the one in Wuhan.
If this blatant criteria was missed by the entire global medical and regulatory establishment when the LIE was perpetrated by politicians of all political stripes, what hope is there that ANY measure has been properly imposed?
Those of us who noted the steep increase in the marketing term “breakthrough” cases were screaming from the roof-tops that the injections do NOT prevent infection or transmission in the first half of 2021. The case has got worse as more and more evidence continues to mount that the injections do not prevent hospitalizations or deaths either, and in fact CAUSE MORE HARM THAN GOOD, by causing immune deficiencies for otherwise dormant conditions and diseases.

Does kind of make you wonder if the BMJ chose to remain silent throughout all the claims made my politicians and Fauci/Birx - did Tedros make this claim also?
Maybe the BMJ was censored.
We know that Pfizer was not censored, so they willingly let the LIE fester.
I hope everyone caught the smug and giggle Pfizer executive calling the people who died and suffered during the course of the disease AND those that suffer and die from injections a "market".
Don’t forget they moved “at the speed of science” ... all from the benevolent goodness of their hearts of course.
