Pretty sound advice you would think. Though politicians have been paying scientists to support political dogma for a long time – whilst refusing to pay for actual science! It is not as if most leading politicians are scientifically literate in any case (or literate in mathematics or statistics or medicine for that matter).

Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. Should not we free ourselves from the naive belief in immature climate models”.
