Lots of interesting snippets over the hour, such as “did you know that you should only use a fast charger to 80% charge and then resort to “tricking?”. How about a 6-year Tesla Model Y battery can only achieve 35% of its charge capacity?

New technology already or soon to be installed includes a device that monitors your eyes to make sure you are focussed on what is immediately I front of you – not either side, just in front – so no checking for deer, pets or falling trees about to cross/fall in front of your car!

How about no changing lanes unless you signal in advance, or devices that monitor your compliance with speed limits?

The changing lanes without signalling prevention device actually stops you changing lanes. No emergencies or pot-hole dodging allowed! All tied up to insurance rates directly tied to your driving behaviour!

At around the 20-minute mark, there is a comment about the comparison to the “one size fits all” C19 treatment protocols. Individual characteristics and circumstances are simply subject to control by a centralized system. “Welcome to the Cult, you will be assimilated, resistance is futile”.

Heaven forbid you spot a child about to run in front of you, out of the corner of your eye, no looking away from straight in front of you and no swerving without signalling!

And, just as with C19 passports showing that you are a good little “slave to the rhythm of the Cult” how long before a “Carbon Passport “becomes compulsory? If your footprint is too big, you cannot go where you want until your ration book is replenished – no car, no holiday, maybe even no heating in the house!
