Back in the 1970s - when I was at school - the science mistress took us out for some mountain climbing (though really, it was more like a big hill).
She started ranting, quite coherently, that recycling is a big scam and we shouldn't do it - they just put everything on a ship and sent it to China and third-world countries to be burnt or buried - not good for the environment at all, especially all the plastics.
I never recycled. And now it's a thousand times worse.
Ouch.
And Kit? I do miss you. I doubt there are very few teachers like that now.
Not to worry... Pfizer and Moderna are working on vaccines for this microplastic stuff. Bill Gates has volunteered young African and Indian women to test the vaccines. We'll all be protected soon.
Outrageous and shocking to learn just how bad the micro-plastics crisis has become. Lord have mercy! The cascading effects of this manufactured Covid crisis have left death and destruction like no other crisis in human history!
