Even worse than 2 million, the newly expanded ULEZ seems to cover all of Greater London which is 9.6 million.

I sourced the below quotes:

"We can advise that there are currently no plans for any further changes to the Ultra Low Emission Zone following its expansion to cover the area within the North and South Circular Roads on 25 October 2021 - TFL Oct 2021"

“Expanding the ULEZ London-wide has not been an easy decision. The easy thing for me would have been to kick the can down the road" - Sadiq Khan Nov 2022

"Individuals living in poverty had 10.5 years lower life expectancy at age 18 than those with incomes ≥400% of the poverty threshold" - Gopal K Singh et al Dec 2020

I think it was Lioness stack with link which said about problem, reaction solution. They've already bought vans with cameras to patrol. C40 cities, no private cars, is end goal.

Just watched a few vids of BRs at work. No signs, no fines is one of their mottos apparently. Voluntary community work according to their leader. Apparently they use long garden secateurs to cut the wires. Even young kids are doing it. Hope no-one gets electrocuted. Great community initiative!

Next step will be to hire 1900 private security staff - employed by companies part owned by the mayor

He had an active supporter base amongst the turnout of 41% and a stronger second voter preference

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2021/england/mayors/E12000007

6 million eligible voters, 1st round Khan got 1 million votes on first round = 16% of eligible votes.

Many votes came from political party strongholds. He will seek 2023 selection by the Labour Party.

He will probably get the nomination and be re-elected as the Conservative Party is in danger of extinction next time - they are hated even more than Khan and Labour

Ya gotta love the smokescreen language used to describe this hell… But at least the presenter guy was wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Only cool people do that - so it must be OK. 🙂
