I suspect that what you say extends to physical and mental abuse within marriages and by another extension into school bullying - perhaps by way of following examples set by parents/relatives.
There is, of course, the flip side, where parents refuse to treat their kids they way their parents treated them.

Attachment Theory I believe explains conclusively why persons as they grow older negatively act out their earlier trauma--the damned and damaged, damn and damage.
Statism begins at home as does every Authoritiarian and violent behavior.
Peaceful parenting that gives the younger ones freedom and shapes the environment to help them become responsible for it, is the furthest and final Upstream means to the end of wars and violence.
Government depopulation fake climate-driven tyrannical child abusing plans can only last so long. The sooner the masses awaken, get into the streets and stop feeding the robocops of government, the better.
