There would seem to be cross-pollination between The Clinton Foundation case, where
"the FBI learned from a well-placed [source] that a foreign government was planning to send an individual to contribute to Clinton’s anticipated presidential campaign, as a way to gain influence with her should she win the presidency," (Durham)
and Giuliani's mission to Ukraine to collect evidence from [a] Ukrainian prosecutor(s) who alleged the Ukrainian government had illegally attempted to influence the 2016 US Presidential election and donated to the campaign.
