Think a lot of people saw this coming-- and it's not necessarily a good thing that the .gov.au is offloading the liability onto employers that it forced into enforcement.

Glad the individual gets something but workmen’s comp doesn’t payout like an auto or medical injury. I am guessing there will be a settlement for less than the true damages. But something is better than nothing. Sad that the damages are for life and life altering and workmen’s compensation is only marginal in payment for injuries

You gotta laugh, if not cry. Both in Australia and New Zealand, "business" was co-opted by government at the beginning of 2020 with a sole goal of implementing shots through the facilitation of the dystopian notion of 'health and safety." The business leaders were cultivated intensively to promote the shots. Let them reap what they sow, while governments continue to dodge and weave. However, perhaps it is ripe time for the business and corporate leaders to lay it on GOV in general, and coercing bureaucrats and politicians by name, in particular?

The BP will never be able to pay it and would end up being bailed out by us, the taxpayers, anyway. I think the CDC is worried about this as well and it's why they have not even looked in and even ignored excess deaths - they will also be liable, but from a criminal perspective.

Ed Dowd is right, the economy will suffer greatly as more and more people suffer injuries from the jab.
