From a biblical point of view:

Is there any trace in the Bible where the devil asks for forgiveness? Moreover, would God have forgiven him if he asked for forgiveness? But even more moreover: did God ask the devil if he wanted him to forgive it, before he blasted him to Hell ? I think there's my point

While NO came out early against c19 restrictions & mandates, I saw a vid of him vaunting the c19 vax as a potential miracle around time of, or just prior to roll-out in UK. Hearing him speak back then, I think he would have taken it, which would make him much less smart than he appears, despite his lilting accent that's enough to persuade anyone of anything. It's not a question of him being too polite. GBN is controlled media just like the rest of them and he knows he can only go so far. On the figures you quote, I personally have no faith in government-claimed percentage of vaxxed. Here in Tasmania, we're supposedly 95% fully vaxxed. I don't believe it. Given travel restrictions etc. over covid period, I've been spending money doing up my house. I've had lots of tradies coming in and out and just about all of them said no way they would take it. Just about the only ones who caved in, to my knowledge, were foreigners who were afraid of losing their visa if they didn't comply. On the other hand, the boomers - who represent a large chunk of Tasmanian population - fell for it hook, line & sinker. I'd say there's a fair chance you may be calculating nonsense from nonsense.

is this correct:Maybe just 823 out of 857 “cases” in the placebo group were actually still infected at the end of the clinical trial.

we don't know. the study was unblinded by injecting the placebo group before the trial had ended and there is no information from the trial on how many got infected and recovered in either the injected group or the placebo group.

Yup, Oliver's too polite. Amnesty for first-degree murder? Really?

That's probably why the whole "amnesty" subject was raised in the first place: to foster an impression that it was something less than first-degree murder.
