Here’s a list of countries and cities that have signed up to the worship of the idol of the Cult of Moloch - “Net Zero”
As you read this, remember “THERE IS NO CLIMATE EMERGENCY”, the costs of policies that implement “renewable energy” polices result in costs, mostly borne by the poorest in society, that are five to ten times the cost of hydrocarbon energy and will be obsolete in a decade, no country properly factors in the costs of the build out of the extra transmission grids and no country considers the folly of chopping down forests and destroying existing eco-systems to plant the forests of windmills or plantations of solar panels.
You might also want to revisit the “faux science” of the moronic followers of the Cult, led by the WEF, who are solely interested in creating a world of excited misery, built in their own psychotic likeness.

All “green policies” and targets create poverty wherever they are implemented. They also create pollution and slavery, but “over there” (mostly, Africa, China, the central Asian “..stans” and South America), out of sight from the virtue signalling Cult sycophants.

You read that right. Wyoming has a proposal to ban EV’s by 2035 because they want to preserve jobs. It would have been better had Wyoming simply declared that “THERE IS NO CLIMATE EMERGENCY” and that it sees no good reason to pay ten times the price of hydrocarbon energy to support a Cult, but there you go. Nuclear energy is maybe not an option either. One thing is for sure, EV’s need to pay HIGHER road taxes, because they are heavier and wear out roads at a faster rate.
Maybe Wyoming could build on policies of Utah and Oregon.

Ok, there’s some context. Now on with the countries and cities that have been indoctrinated into the false god and the Cult of Moloch.

A slick chart, expressly designed to mislead by using alarming colour codes for the laggards and nice green colours for the adherents.
So, for example, the European Union has a redder shade (to impose a psychological warning message) as, back in 2019, it only had a “report under discussion”.
Things have moved on a lot since 2019 In both directions. Sweden has decided to pursue nuclear.

Svantesson asserted that wind and solar power are too “unstable” to meet the nation’s energy requirements.
Instead, the Swedish Government is shifting back to nuclear power and has ditched its targets for a “100% renewable energy” supply.”
Nuclear power has been redefined as a renewable energy – it always was – in order for the EU to deal with the manifest absurdity of polluting the region with forests of windmills and plantations of solar panels – all of which require slave labour (including children), leave massive eye-sore of open cast mining in countries with the relevant (rare earth) metal ores, require massive amounts of hydrocarbon usage to extract, require massive imports from China and, of course, are not bio-degradable, have a limited life and kill of entire flocks of the birds bees and for offshore forests of windmills, slaughter entire species of sea animals and fish.
The EU constructed its altar of worship to the false god and signed climate laws into place in 2021.

“The European Council adopted a climate change law Monday that legally obliges its 27 nations to collectively slash greenhouse emissions by 55% by 2030 – from 1990 levels – and to become a net-zero-emissions economy by 2050.”
The EU has also declared that natural gas and nuclear are “sustainable” energy sources. At least they are no longer calling natural gas a “fossil” any more. The fact that oil is also not a fossil and is abiotic has so far eluded its designation as a “fossil”.

Back to the WEF cathedral of the false god, Moloch, and its cult, there is this from December 2022.

The 8 countries, by accident, design or simply by using false definitions and no measurements are:
Bhutan, Comoros (volcanoes don’t count!), Gabon ( a carbon “sink” with no industry and lots of jungle), Guyana (lots of trees), Madagascar (rapidly denuding its trees), Niue (I was once on an advisory panel for the Niue-New Zealand Development Council – most of its population lives in New Zealand and, back in the mid-1990’s, it could identify its buildings by double digit numbers as “addresses”) , Panama (lots of trees, another “carbon sink” and Suriname (“carbon sink”).
Note that one of the targets for “net zero” is “greenhouse gas emissions”, of which carbon dioxide, an invisible GAS which is completely different to the element, carbon. Diamonds are made of carbon, so is coal. You could try making a necklace of CO2 or make a fire with it, but you would be “Cult stupid”.
How about cities?

“At least 240 cities globally have set net-zero or carbon-neutral targets for 2050 or sooner, according to research led by Oxford University. With their mayors leading the fight against climate change, 60 cities have net-zero ambitions that exceed those of their respective nations. Melbourne’s mayor, for example, wants the city to attain zero-emissions status by 2040 – ten years ahead of Australia as a whole..”
Sixty cities want to make their residents poorer and reduce their standards of living. It would be interesting to see the kind of electoral support for such policies – I suspect that less than half the electorate turns out to vote and that the “winner” receives less than half of the support of those that do turn out to vote – meaning the mayors have around just 25% support in the electorate with which to inflict their views on the remaining 75%. Elections and turnouts matter!
The policies are advertised as “the Race to Net Zero”. How ironic. So close to “the Race to Poverty and Deprivation” and in full accord with the WEF mantra “you will have nothing and be happy” which translates to “all your money, wealth and capital belongs to us” (i.e. the WEF).
“So far, more than 1,000 cities have joined the Cities Race to Zero initiative, and, either through this campaign or separately, 240 cities have set formal net-zero targets according to the Net Zero Tracker, which crunches data on cities with populations of more than half a million people.
While cities cover just 3% of the earth’s land surface, they account for more than 70% of global CO2 emissions, according to the World Economic Forum.”
Check out that last sentence “3% of the Earth’s surface is covered by cities that account for 70% of CO2 emissions”. At least they did not call it “carbon”. Note that the temperature readings used to make claims about “global boiling” are not in the 97% of land mass that lies outside cities. The global boiling claims are based on temperature readings in “heat islands” in cities – AND – on increases from an 8,000 year low in global temperatures everywhere, that was reached in the 1880’s. (Refer to the ice core readings link embedded in the “A compilation of..” link at the top.
Here's a little more from the article that places CO2 emissions in context.
“According to data from CDP, a non-profit organisation that helps companies and cities disclose their environmental impact, the cumulative emissions of 18 of the 30 cities, which are located mainly in the US and Europe, amount to 31.2 million tonnes of CO2 – roughly equivalent to the 2020 emissions of Ireland.”
Let’s look at that sentence for a minute. 31.2 million tonnes of CO2 is the equivalent of the emissions of Ireland.
Ireland has a population of 5 million people. 18 of 30 in the race to the bottom that is net zero, COMBINED have the same CO2 emissions.
How many people live in those 18 cities? 30 million? 50 million? 100 million? Let’s say its 30 million. This means that 18 cities with 30 million city people produce the same as 5 million Irish peoples???
Either the Irish are extremely high emitters or city people emit one sixth per capita than the Irish.

“Although scientists have difficulty pinpointing the exact amount of CO2 that every country emits, separate figures from the World Bank and the European Commission estimate that Ireland is responsible for around 0.1% of global emissions.”
A caveat, that was extracted from a “fact checking” website, that compared a claim that Ireland contributes just 0.000012% to global emissions to data from those well-known truth tellers, the followers of the Cult, the World Bank and the EU – so lies, damned lies and “sadistics” rules apply.
I can honestly say that I feel that I suffered from an increase of “brain fog” as I penned this article. The more you get into the evil being perpetrated by the Cult, the more pollution you imbibe. There really ought to be a “race to zero” denial of debate around science and logic”. How else could you explain the wish by people to vote for politicians that are intent on adopting the world of excited misery set down by the cathedral of the Cult of Moloch – the WEF and its high priests in the UN and its organs?
