"In summary, while there is no direct answer to the question, the available information suggests that a significant proportion of chickens in the UK are vaccinated against Salmonella, likely in the range of 70-80%, due to the widespread adoption of the Lion Quality Code of Practice and the effectiveness of vaccination in controlling Salmonella."
and
"The majority of hens destined to lay Lion eggs are vaccinated against Salmonella, as part of the Lion Quality Code of Practice."
"The UK has a voluntary industry-led vaccination scheme, and breeders subscribing to the Lion Quality Code of Practice and using the Lion Mark on eggs are required to vaccinate their hens against Salmonella."
My curiosity is more along the lines of vaccine efficacy, shedding, causality, becoming something we ingest...since many of us have learned to distrust them for ourselves, distrusting them for animals and food supply seems logical and prudent. Not to discount the other processing pluses that the UK eggs have over the US eggs. Just, vaccines.
You are so full of BS. the shiny coat on the out side of the egg did not evolve. If it wasn't there from the get-go there would be no eggs or chickens.
It's time to bring a few more neural processors into action.
Here in the US, I remember learning about this as a child, not about the UK eggs, but farm fresh eggs as opposed to store bought. My Mother was born & raised on a farm. God really did think of everything, but He allows humans to meddle....🫣
My communist state of Oregon passed all kinds of weird laws about eggs and now they are 1000000 per egg, so no one here can afford them anyway.
You gotta love Marxist mass murderous assholes.
And having a chicken can get you plenty of trouble, so better just starve.
"and standard practice in even more, that chickens be vaccinated against salmonella"
Tell me more about that vaccination thing...the skeptical mind wants to know.
Brave AI has this to say:

I'm used to the mistakes. I think you need a new keyboard.

I reposted a piece from Quora - not my work, just a bit of fun..
So... the egg came first then?
No sir, the chicken. At the get-go. (Day 5)

Cor blimey, Guv'nor! I had no idea that was why we don't refrigerate our eggs! Fascinating facts! Thanks a lot.
