Is the C19 pandemic in China over and done with?

“BEIJING - Health authorities in China said on Thursday that the country’s Covid-19 epidemic has “basically” ended. However, they added that it is not completely over, as it found seven imported cases of the highly transmissible XBB.1.5 variant since Jan 8.

Officials, speaking at a news event with several departments attending, said China’s “major decisive victory” over Covid-19 has set an example for populous nations in prevention and control. Last week, China’s top leaders declared a “decisive victory” over Covid-19. They claimed the world’s lowest fatality rate.”

Assuming this reporting is accurate, the path of the surge over Christmas and into the Chinese New Year followed the pattern outlined here:

Now, about those adverse events from China’s roll-out of a “traditional” vaccine and why China is not making use of Ivermectin it can produce at a few hundred bucks per kilo (enough for 50,000 doses – or triple dosing all of China’s 1.4 billion people for around 17 million bucks).

Presumably, China does not have any positive research on IVM?
