London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will add 13 minutes to a person’s life (no doubt, plus or minus 50 minutes!)
From here:
“Sadiq Khan's Ulez expansion will add just 13 minutes to the average life expectancy, research has revealed. Research conducted by the Mayor's own team found the scheme's impact will be “minor” and “negligible”.
It predicts that there will be just 1.3 per cent reduction in the average Londoner's exposure to nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The data also concluded that the scheme will add just 13 minutes to the life expectancy of a Londoner in 2023.”
Anti-white racist mayor, Khan, had no problem pushing C19 mRNA and viral vector injections that reduce 7% of remaining life PER DOSE. Meaning a 40 year old with four shots previously expecting to live another 40 years will, instead, live 11 years less.
There is a note on the number of ULEZ camera removed by the now famous “Blade Runners”, but I suspect it has not been updated for a week or so.
“It comes as criminals, dubbed Blade Runners, have begun stealing and defacing the spy cameras which are central to the charging scheme. Of the 1,762 cameras, at least 450 have so far been disabled.”
Go you Blade Runners!
A reminder, the ULEZ charge is expected to raise almost a quarter of a million pounds which, so far, looks to have been spent on a massive TV and print media campaign.
There is also another daily charge of £15 A DAY for travel between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, and between 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. The congestion charge also raises a quarter billion pounds a year.
“Voters oppose the anti-car measure coming to their area by almost two to one, while one in three say they would be less likely to back politicians who brought in the charge.
A total of 47 per cent of people would oppose or strongly oppose it. While just 28 per cent backed the recent roll-out to the outer London boroughs, and 43 per cent were against.”
Surprise, surprise. Yet another scheme that penalizes the vast majority of people for no significant benefit to anyone.
Typical. There must be a hot line to Resident Biden’s Department of Energy.
Onwards!

I saw an interesting photo recently of the roads by the new ULEZ area. The ULEX carriageway was empty but for one car, the other carriageways nose to tail standing traffic. That makes MORE pollution as the vehicles line up stationary with the engines chugging away. How can that be a better solution?
As to public transport options, where I live ther is literally ONE bus A WEEK to the local market town. The return bus comes back 40 minutes later so if you don't manage a weekly shop in that time you are stuffed until the following week, or face a long walk or hefty priced taxi ride. So yeah, we need our independent transport.
Interesting the money expected to be raised with the charges...a quarter of a million pounds and more in the future...where does that money go?...into the pockets of the rich...
