Skip to the 27 minute 15 second mark for what to me was quite moving. It describes the “get out of my office” attitude of psychiatrists to the on-going and likely permanent Traumatic Stress Disorder (not PTSD, just TSD) suffered by parents of kids who have been brainwashed into thinking their body does not reflect their gender.

Dr Mossman describes how she reached out to a group of around 70 parents (from a carefully screened group of parents with transgender kid issues) via Zoom and was disconcerted when 80% of them turned their video cameras off when she apologized for the lack of psychiatric support offered by her profession.

Dr Mossman also found out that parents had to joing Zoom calls in their basements or cars for example and speak in whispers and hushed tones.

The reasom? The parents were in tears that someone had acknowledged the stress, grief and loneliness they had suffered because no-one acknowledged these aspects and they were afraid to speak out because of the possible hate they would receive from outside the family and friends and any impacrt on their children.

Aside from the horrific genital  and bodily mutilation and/or chemicals that a kid opts for in the present, and the growing realization that gender transitioning cannot bring about a change in any of the critical functions of each gender, has permanent and long term health and well-being for life and is irreversible the psychological impact on the parents and extended family is denied by psychiatrists.

I confess I did not watch the entire 100 minutes as my mind leapt to other associated questions.

1.      We have seen some countries, states and provinces in North America pass legislation that conceals a kid’s wish to transition from parents AND remove kids from parents who object.

2.      We have seen some hospitals perform transgender operations without parental consent.

3.      Who pays for the surgery without parental consent? Presumably the tax payer. This means that the state is engaging in experimental, harmful, non-essential (elective) medical practices on minors in much the same way that Nazis did in WWII.

Children should enjoy innocence for as long as possible before the realities of life remove it and they become familiar with the guilty of society at large and government malfeasance.

Maybe I am overly influenced in my tender years, decades ago, by “feel good” movies like “Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang”, “Bed Lnobs and Broomsticks”, “The Jungle Book” and “The Sound of Music”, but what I see here is a further example of the denial of natural emotions and feelings and their replacement with state controlled perversion.

By the way, I thought the “Q” in “LBGTQ+” stood for “Queer”. Not so! It stands for “Questioning”. You learn something stupid every day!
