Once elected the Labour government in the UK plans to extend Ultra Lows Emission Zones (ULEZ) to the whole of the United Kingdom
Despite the massive rises in food and energy prices from existing corrupt “Net Zero” polices that use “renewable energy” from solar and wind (whilst imposing punishing taxes and regulations on hydrocarbons fuel) and the massive compliance costs from the arbitrary and capricious taxes on Londoners to combat a non-existent “bad air” crisis, Labour politicians, nationally, are salivating over the prospect of doing what they always do.
Tax and spend – on ill-considered, wasteful policies that promote bad behaviour.
Which should be extended to “tax, spend and waste taxes on corruption and compliance”.
See here for how badly London’s Ultra Low Emissions Zone is working out.
“Sadiq Khan's Ulez expansion will add just 13 minutes to the average life expectancy, research has revealed. Research conducted by the Mayor's own team found the scheme's impact will be “minor” and “negligible”.
London Mayor, “Sadiq Khan has given firms £151.8million in lucrative contracts to track down drivers who fail to pay Ulez penalties and other road fines.”
The existing ULEZ and congestion charges each levy taxes of around 250 million pounds on those that do not conform to the beliefs of the Cult of “Net Zero”.
Before you dismiss this as the “Madness of King Charles III” type thinking, the plans of the socialist/Marxist/Maoist Cult are global and not just limited to plans for “15 minute cities” and “ULEZ” in the UK.
London is one of 240 cities that have already virtue signalled their Cult status around the world.
Green cities: Which cities are in the race to net zero? - Capital Monitor
This is how deep the Cult has penetrated into the lives of people globally to make them poorer.
These additional Net Zero taxes will be spent on flying around the world to each of the cities in the Cult, just like the Climate Bar Fly John Kerry, to attend sessions of mutual stomach rubbing, head patting and back slapping on the successful impoverishment of the poorest in society.
All taxation is theft, even more so when taxation is imposed by a kakistocratic Cult.
And that is the impact in what is considered to be one of the UK’s largest and most polluted cities.
C1 mRNA injections take 7% of remaining life PER DOSE – removing years of life compared to this insanity that MIGHT remove less than a quarter of an hour.
Whilst London has given monopoly powers to Transport for London that inflict expensive passenger costs for buses, tubes, trams and trains, the rest of the country does not have such extensive monopoly priced public transport.
This means that any extra taxes on transport are highly regressive and disproportionately impact the poorest in society who have less spending power already.
This is the season in the UK where the major political parties offer their thoughts on what will win elections. The UK faces a national election in around one year. The leader of the ruling Conservative Party, Rishi Sunak, has signalled that some of the most stupidly egregious Net Zero policies will be made more pragmatic.
Su would win in a landslide if he simply rolled ALL the Net Zero policies back, abolished ALL indirect taxes (such as Customs and Excise duties, Value Added Taz, Road and Fuel taxes, subsidies for renewables, National Insurance etc) and cut spending to produce a surplus with a single income tax rate of 25%.
From here:
“'To complement the new provisions, guidance will be published setting out our expectations around the use of available powers to introduce Caz’s [Clean Air Zones] on both local roads and trunk roads. The guidance will help embed a level of consistency, ensuring clear expectations on the use of powers across the country in line with our clean air and sustainable transport ambitions.'
The spin in the article refers to measures in existence in one country in the United Kingdom, Wales, but London’s population alone is more than twice that of Wales. Wales has a much higher need for roads as it has very little public transport, especially in sparsely populated rural areas.
“Labour has been forced on the defensive over road charging since the Tory victory in the Uxbridge by-election, which was credited by Conservative strategists to the widening of London's Ultra Low Emission Zone (Ulez) scheme by Mayor Sadiq Khan.”
Already, the more extreme Cult members of the London Borough of Camden are latching on to the potential for raking in more taxes to fund their corruption and virtue signalling my making the poor even poorer.
“.. Labour imposed a second Ulez-style levy in one of London's poorest boroughs, with Camden Council proposing a new ultra-low emission band.
The charge will be for up to £2.30 every day for petrol and diesel cars on top of the £12.50 a day already being forced on thousands of non-compliant vehicles by Mr Khan.”
Expect compliance costs for the imposition of yet more taxes to require spending of half of any revenue on chasing down defaulters.
There is an old song in the UK. It goes something like this
“Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen, Robin Hood, Robin Hood and his band of men. Robs from the rich gives to the poor, Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood”.
This has now been bastardized by second and third generation immigrants to be this.
“Sadiq Khan, Sadiq Khan, luxuriating in his den, Sadiq Khan, Sadiq khan and his den of thieves. Steals from the poor, gives to the rich, corrupt witch, stupid bitch, Sadiq Khan”
He is also and anti-white racist bigot who denies opportunities to poor whites whilst promoting those of other melanin coloured people.

Considering that the Dep Mayor was implicated in asking the body who provided the report on the effects of missions on children to change the result, I wonder how Labour will provide their evidence.
You know, fine diesel particulate emissions have been identified as resulting in a third more cases of dementia in inner cities, where people live on average ten years less than the leafy suburbs.
There is no excuse for driving stinky SUVs and Chelsea Tractors on the school run - in an area that has superb public transport networks - unlike most of the UK.
You cannot impose ULEZ on 95% of Britain, which is rural ... so this article is a load of alarmist twaddle.
