Pre-print study with another way to estimate the VAERS under-reporting factor for deaths up to 31 December 2021 (bootstrapping and social circles) – ANSWER = around 35
From here:
There is this:
“Assuming the experiences captured in the survey represent the true ratio, the survey ratio is used to estimate nationwide COVID-19 vaccine fatalities: Estimated fatalities are 289,789 (95% CI 229,319–344,319). Estimated nationwide deaths combined with other survey data on adverse events are also used to estimate total adverse events. “Severe” adverse events are estimated to be about one million nationwide, and “less severe” adverse events are about 2.1 million. Estimated nationwide fatalities, “severe” injuries and “less severe” injuries tally to 3.4 million.”
And this:
“Estimates from the survey indicate that through the first year of the COVID-19 vaccination program there may be as many as 278,000 vaccine induced fatalities and up to a million severe adverse events.”
The pre-print references 8,023 fatalities reported to VAERS.
I see slightly higher numbers from the same source here:
VAERS Summary for COVID-19 Vaccines through 12/31/2021 – VAERS Analysis
9,778 deaths amongst 715,857 reports as at 31 December 2021
Anyway, using the estimated deaths (amongst a wide range using the (bootstrapped) social circle method we can come up with year another Under Reporting Factor of 278,000 / 8,023 = a little under 35 after the first year roll-out of C19 mRNA injections.
As at 31 December 2021, there had been 507 million doses administered (now 669 million doses).
Onwards!

So still close to 40. There was a study some time ago (2 years?), that came up with a URF of about 20. And in the early days I considered it. But after seeing all the various stories of suppression, people with injuries being told that were crazy (like literally), and all the rest, 40 seemed to be quite reasonable.
35? I guess. Think i will stay with ~40 for the time being, it's not like things have changed out there all that much.
I think it is also possible that 40 could be too low, but when you try a lot higher for some things it also starts to seem unreasonable. But I would imagine that also for some things higher than 40 might be correct. Kinda of a guessing game in a way.
To bad the folks that are supposedly "responsible" for such things don't care at all.
