The Ten Commandments, in various forms and under various names, exist in all tribal cultures, including the corporation. It appears that we find pleasure in designing rules to live by. The practice (of life) shows that we draw much more pleasure from breaking these rules. To ensure that this contradiction is secured and untouchable, we design laws, vague enough for our lawyers to be able to twist them in any way needed in the particular situation.
Yet, nobody is worried about it. Weird. We are reminded about these commandments in weekly, monthly or special events, and then we go out and we pretend everything is ok when these rules are broken in our presence.
Where has the ability to tell the right from the wrong gone?

You appear to be unfamiliar with the New Testament. Jesus referred to the Devil (many hats, including of course Moloch) as the Prince of this world. And the Devil himself (though the father of lies) truthfully claimed: 'And the devil led him (Jesus) into a high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And he said to him: To thee will I give all this power, and the glory of them; for to me they are delivered, and to whom I will, I give them. If thou therefore wilt adore before me, all shall be thine.' Luke lV : 5-7 This is why rotten people get to lead us, they sell their souls for wealth and power. This world is a trial - you will be rewarded or condemned in the afterlife for your choices.
This life may seem long, but is a tiny, infinitesimal portion of eternity, but still fools gladly sell their souls for wealth and power. 'For what doth it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of hi soul?'.
