It excludes the tens of thousands of lives taken or shortened )including children) to mine the raw materials within EV batteries or the environmental costs of mining techniques used to extract raw materials.

It's always the same sales pitch: "If we invest in a system that cannot support itself, it will somehow magically become a system that is self-sustainable."
If it didn't start out as a something that can support itself, the ONLY support it will ever have, is subsidies. They keep talking about "sustainable" and NOTHING they promote is sustainable AT ALL.
Maybe what they really mean is: "This system will sustain (and expand) our control over humanity."
Wow! And I am betting as much attention has been paid to stuff like "During TR, batteries release a large amount of flammable gas whilst also generating heat. If the gas is ignited, it can explode or cause fire" as has been paid to the effects of 5G microwave radiation on the flammability of buildings etc.
