The carbon tax will result in higher prices across the EU economy. All that economic stuff about Adam Smith’s “The Walth of Nations” and Michael Porter’s “The Competitive Advantage of Nations” is discarded unless obeisance is pledged to the faux science of “Net Zero” because “Climate Change”.
Remember, the bedrock of the “Green” chicken littles is actually the “shifting sands” that the Cult employs to further its anti-human agenda.

The EU imports around 9 times as much from China as India. We know the European car industry, especially the French car industry, feels threatened by EV;s made in China, by companies like Tesla and imported to the EU.
Every single component of the goods, and many components of the services sector of the EU, use Chinese and Indian goods.
The steel industry has been a global bone of contention for decades – with dumping charges being thrown about like confetti at a wedding.
This carbon tax will raise prices throughout the EU and will cause a trade war that damages everyone resulting in more poverty, fewer opportunities and lower quality,
The sycophants of the Cult are rubbing their hands with glee.
