The madness of the Greens in Germany – cut down an ancient forest and build a forest of 800 foot tall windmills instead
There surely must be a limit to the tolerance of Germans for the destruction of their areas of natural beauty to sate the lust for destruction of the supposedly “green” movement.
From here;
Greens commence deforestation of Germany's enchanted forest to make way for wind turbines (rmx.news)
“The deforestation of parts of the central German Reinhardwald forest has begun as the woodland, famously featured in the Grimms’ fairy tales, is to be cut down to make way for wind turbines.
The forest, which contains trees that are up to 200 years old, is now being cleared for highway-wide construction roads to facilitate the erection of 18 wind turbines around Sababurg Sleeping Beauty Castle.”
Imagine that. Replacing forest that remove CO2 with wind turbines that require the excavation of huge amounts of earth using slave labour and which are as ugly as the minds of the greens.
From this:
To this:
By extracting the boron, iron and neodymium in the magnets of turbines by doing this:
A neodymium “mine”.
A boron “mine”:
Not in the German “greens” backyard right? What would they say about these mining operations if it was in their backyard I wonder?
Do the “greens” in Germany favour the rape of the earth, the destruction of forests so that they can install eyesores that kill off the birds and the bees (and the bats)?
All in pursuit of the “faux science” of climate change that is a complete fiction, creating energy poverty amongst Germans?
Back to the rmx.news article:
“Nine of the eleven mayors from the neighboring municipalities, including the mayor of Wesertal, Cornelius Turrey (SPD), are campaigning against the construction of the wind turbines.”
So, those living close by want nothing to do with the madness. Who the hell does?
“The state of Hesse has driven this, Habeck is cheering it on. The Greens in the federal government want wind turbines in the forest. And without sense or reason. We are worried about fire protection, pollution of drinking water, and noise for the citizens,” Turrey told the Bild newspaper.
Ah ok. A green chicken little called Habeck – who is the Vice Chancellor of Germany, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in the cabinet of Chancellor Olaf Scholz and is that Member of the German Bundestag for Flensburg – Schleswig in the Hesse State government. Not the people who actually have to live in the area that the Hesse State government doesn’t.
Check out the verbal gymnastics of another moronic Green leader, Hinz – well not verbal gymnastics, more like completely unself-aware lies that are “cognitively dissonant”.
“The project is being led by Hesse’s Environment Minister Priska Hinz (Greens), as the forest does not belong to any of the neighboring municipalities, but to the state of Hesse. In an interview with Bild, the Green politician defended the project: “Wind energy makes a decisive contribution to the energy transition and the preservation of nature. It is the only way to preserve forests and important ecosystems.”
Let me repeat that last sentence.
“Wind energy makes a decisive contribution to the energy transition and the preservation of nature. It is the only way to preserve forests and important ecosystems.”
How does anyone in Germany not see the complete and utter hypocrisy of that? Chop down forests and erect species killing wind turbines to “preserve forest and important ecosystems”?
Risible
Last quote from the article:
“Since construction began on the 241-metre-high wind turbines, animals have been fleeing the Reinhardswald, including lynx, of which there were only around 130 in 2018. No climate activists demonstrated against the deforestation and destruction of the rare animals’ habitat.”
241 metres sounds awfully high – almost 800 feet = bigger than a 75 storey apartment block.
Random thought – I wonder how much power all the illegal immigrants in Germany would generate on treadmills? Yeah, yeah, I know, barbaric!

Destroying this legendary old-growth forest to make way for hideous wind turbines has got to be the craziest reductio on “green” yet. Everywhere “green” takes hold, we find dying animals, scarred landscapes, and impoverished people. Meanwhile, real pollution in the form of nano-plastics and hormones in the water supply threaten to end terrestrial life. Are there any real environmentalists left? Hello, tree-huggers? This is your moment; where the bell are you?
How? How are people that stupid? 😵💫
