Trudeau continues to try and turn Canada into a full-blown Nazi state - along with the EU, the UK, Ireland and Australia?

Here’s a teaser to the mass censorship disguised as “Online Hate”.

“Joining the growing global trend towards social media regulation, the Government of Canada introduced its long-anticipated online harms legislation, Bill C-63, on February 26. The bill proposes to create a new statute, the Online Harms Act (the OHA or the Act), and to amend other existing statutes, including the Criminal Code and the Canadian Human Rights Act.”

The only global growing trend is the one towards elimination of global dictatorship and totalitarian control by morons who think they are better than everyone else. They are not. They are just people with a psychiatric condition which makes them think they are “superior” to ordinary people.

Here’s the content of the first reading of the Bill that proposes the Online Harms Act:

Government Bill (House of Commons) C-63 (44-1) - First Reading - An Act to enact the Online Harms Act, to amend the Criminal Code, the Canadian Human Rights Act and An Act respecting the mandatory reporting of Internet child pornography by persons who provide an Internet service and to make consequential and related amendments to other Acts - Parliament of Canada

There should be a call for public submissions after the bill receives second reading and is referred to a standing committee for review. PEN Canada intends to participate in that process.

It has four parts plus a coordinating part.

“Part 1 of this enactment enacts the Online Harms Act, whose purpose is to, among other things, promote the online safety of persons in Canada, reduce harms caused to persons in Canada as a result of harmful content online and ensure that the operators of social media services in respect of which that Act applies are transparent and accountable with respect to their duties under that Act.”

·        establishes the Digital Safety Commission

·        creates the position of Digital Safety Ombudsperson

·        establishes the Digital Safety Office

“Part 2 amends the Criminal Code to, among other things,

(a) create a hate crime offence of committing an offence under that Act or any other Act of Parliament that is motivated by hatred based on certain factors;

(b) create a recognizance to keep the peace relating to hate propaganda and hate crime offences;

(c) define “hatred” for the purposes of the new offence and the hate propaganda offences; and

(d) increase the maximum sentences for the hate propaganda offences.

It also makes related amendments to other Acts.”

“Part 3 amends the Canadian Human Rights Act to provide that it is a discriminatory practice to communicate or cause to be communicated hate speech by means of the Internet or any other means of telecommunication in a context in which the hate speech is likely to foment detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination.”

“Part 4 amends An Act respecting the mandatory reporting of Internet child pornography by persons who provide an Internet service to…”

“Part 5 contains a coordinating amendment.”

The bill has run into a lot of opposition.

Canada to Jail All Citizens Who Have Ever Used 'Hate Speech' - News Addicts

Which presumably includes children!!!! (and those under the influence, the mentally challenged, sleep talkers and those who have dreams).

It certainly includes travellers to Canada, its tourists and businesspeople who profile the population to sell products designed for particular segments of the population. Probably anyone that views content from countries that still have freedom of speech (including those that look over their shoulders at such content).

No more jokes about any group with “distinguishing” features – neither good nor bad characteristics. Maybe robot jokes will become the norm – based on the colour of their feet. Can you tell jokes about black, brown, red, yellow and white robots as a substitute? Irish, Italian, English, Chinese or Japanese robot characteristics? Slip in some transgender, gay or lesbian robots and male/female ones too. Surely you cannot prosecute satire or hate speech against robots!

Instead of robots as a substitute, use animals! Lesbian cheetahs or trans chimps or gay armadillos or Nazi elephants! The less said abut bi pythons the better!

“It also raises the punishment for advocating genocide from five years to life imprisonment and increases the punishment for wilful promotion of antisemitism or hatred and public incitement of hatred from up to two years to as long as five years.”

What’s the betting that “advocating genocide” will encompass protesting C19 injections and the like that are billed as PREVENTING genocide (we all know that the C19 injections have CAUSED a genocide).

Just in time for the censorship necessary to criticize the soon to be rewritten International Health Regulations.

The law is RETROSPECTIVE – which is a breach of all legal precedent in any democracy ever invented.

The law does not define “hate speech” – so it can be anything that TurdWater – turd in the pool - (Trudeau) and his cronies deem it to mean.

An accused need not ever face the accuser – whose claims can be anonymous.

“… the bill creates a new hate crime offense that renders any offense under the criminal code indictable and punishable by life in prison if it is deemed to be motivated by hatred.”

“… there is a clause in the bill stating that if courts think you are likely to commit a hate crime or disseminate “hate propaganda” … they can place you under house arrest and restrict your communications.”

Quite frankly I would not be at all surprised if Canada did not offer Maid as an alternative to those convicted of this odious law – maybe even make it compulsory.

Ireland is looking to pass similar laws on hate speech.

As I understand it, Australia has already passed a law, Scotland failed to pass one, the EU has passed one and the US is failing miserably to get ay such censorship off the groud beyond that which protects minors.
