This week, we had the UK Prime Ministerial debates and the first POTUS debate.
In the UK, neither leader addressed the substantive issues of crippling government debt, the genocide of 100’s of thousands and the costly absurdities of “net zero” policies.
In the US, neither leader addressed the substantive issues of crippling government debt, the genocide of hundreds of thousands, injuries to tens of millions and the costly absurdity of “net zero” policies.
In the UK, Rishi Sunak pushed his plan to deport 600,000 criminal migrants sucking the life out of the British welfare state and crowding out of Brits from the facilities they have paid for over decades - or rather borrowed money to provide those facilities. Keir Starmer outlined his plans to spend a trillion or two pounds on building 1.5 million houses (on scarce land – probably farmland) and on “net zero” policies that will achieve nothing in particular other than a doubling of the national debt.
In the US, Donald Trump pushed his plan to deport 20 million criminal migrants sucking the life out of the US benefit system and crowding out of Americans from the facilities they have paid for over decades - or rather borrowed money to provide those facilities. Trump campaigned on his “fewer regulations and tazes” plus strong international deal-making skills. Biden campaigned on the “existential threat” of climate change – demonstrating his lack of any and all mental acuity – with a “vote buying” sop to young mums and the abortion lobby thrown in.
Giv the parlous state of Biden’s mental and physical health, I thought he performed better than I expected (a very low expectations bar) – and given the validity of his platform, I thought Trump performed worse than I expected (very high expectations high bar).
Apologies for the offence this is likely to cause, but I saw two old men – not two dynamic leadership candidates of the free world.
What I did see was the encapsulation of two different movements in two old men. Trump’s those of small government, safety and security, international peace, secure borders etc is what appeals to me. I would love to see a team with a similar ethos more on display – a team of at least a dozen characters that embrace the principles that Trump brough from 2016 onwards.
Biden represents nothing but presidential lawfare, the insane “climate change” narrative and a huge government costing more than can be paid for and a rising mountain of debt. Just like Keir Starmer in the UK.
I wish Trump had taken on the climate change crap spouted by Bide et al – maybe with something like “even if C2 is a threat – which I don’t, CO2 is plant food - , who causes the most CO2 emission?” and “how much have you spent on renewables so far and propose to spend in the next five years – and what impact will that have the levels of CO2 in the US and the world” – I doubt Biden (or Trump?) even know how much CO2 is the air. Another question would be “do you think that electricity prices that are five times more expensive than hydrocarbon or nuclear fuels is a price Americas should pay for no impact on global average temperatures?” – “how do you propose that the poor pay for this crass policy”?
Neither Trump or Biden (nor Sunak or Starmer) mentioned the debt servicing costs of the monstrous government debt from policies that have failed to raise health outcomes – or the cost of war (though Trump alluded to hundreds of billions.
The debt servicing costs for the US are well in excess of 1.25 trillion bucks a year – 20% higher than the massive Pentagon budget.
I was sorely disappointed that Trump did not point out the structural deficit of an additional 1.25 trillion bucks that Biden has inflicted.
Remember this?
It had this table of the pre-pandemic Trump budget:
Fiscal deficits for the three fiscal years to 2025 of around 2 trillion bucks.
Compared to Biden’s latest “budget”:
Fiscal deficits for the three years (2023, 2024 and 2025) summing over 5 trillion bucks – an increase over Trump’s budget of 3 trillion bucks.
The scamdemic did not exist at the time of the Trump predictions and was over in May 2023, so this is pretty much “apples and apples”.
Looking at the spending side, Trump and budgeted for around 5.5 trillion bucks for 2025, but Biden budgets for 7.3 trillion bucks.
For taxes, Trump budgeted for under 5 trillion, whilst Bide increased the tax burden by almost 20% to just under 6 trillion for 2025.
Now these umbers are all BS and are subject to marked revisions. Biden and his criminal gang have not ad will not publish estimates of the costs of 10 million migrants on a consolidated basis, from local, city and state to federal level. I guesstimate around 100,000 bucks per criminal migrant (50,00 in direct costs and another 50,000 in indirect costs).
For those interested in fiscal deterioration so far, here is a link to the latest monthly Treasury statement (May 2024).
Monthly_Treasury_Statement_Report_052024_BOOK (1).pdf
Which has charts like this:
And this (extracted for the deficit only):
The next figure (Figure 4) shows the cumulative fiscal year to May 2023 and 2024 numbers of around 1.2 trillion - with another trillion bucks of deficit to come in the remaining 4 months f the 2024 fiscal year.
How accurate are these numbers? You be the judge!
Suffice to say that the current national debt is 35.9 trillion bucks and was 26.9 trillion on 30 September 2020 – for an increase of 9 trillion bucks for 3 years 8 months – compared to around 2 trillion bucks from the Trump budget for fiscal 2021 and 2022 from the Trump budget (with no C19 scamdemic effect) plus 3.5 trillion budget deficits from Bidens budget for 2023 and 2024 – implying that the scamdemic cost just (7 – 5.5) 1.5 trillion bucks in government debt. If you believe that I have a paid of Biden’s best white pants to sell you!
The “books” are well and truly “cooked”! The point is that federal debt, taxes and spending are up around 20% since the Biden crime gang took over.
All signs of the entirely predictable descent into economic collapse that are the hallmarks of socialist regimes since the concept was developed. Rack and ruin via the impoverishment of current and future generations whilst restricting all freedoms and behaviours that don’t contribute to the corrupt “leadership” of mouth bullying kakistocrats.
The US (and the UK) cannot achieve prosperity and progress without reducing taxation, spending and debt by at least half. Neither Trump nor Biden has a plan for the. Trump at least knows it is an issue – Biden thinks that deficits don’t matter, and that money is an outdated concept that should be replaced with behavioural metrics like “social credit” score – enforced by the jackboot (or “jack-bot” these days).
It saddens me to think that, if Trump wins, as he did in 2020 and 2016, he might appear just as frail as Biden does today, in four to five years’ time.
Onwards!!!

I think Trump wanted to take this opportunity to address the many lies heaped at him. He addresses many different issues at his rallies. I do hope he speaks up about the many disasters in government he will need to deal with and clean out. He did many things his first term that he promised. He will definitely do more this time.
It's not the failure of the debaters to address the most important issues, but the moderator's failure to ASK the questions!
