What makes you think that newer vehicles (onstar) aren't already tracking you. Hell, that cellphone you carry already does a bang up job of it.

THIS IS WHERE A FLAT TAX WOULD BE APPROPRIATE. YES, THE DRIVERS OF EVs SHOULD PAY FOR ROADS SAME AS THOSE WHO USE GAS POWERED VEHICLES, BUT THEY SHOULD NEVER BE TRACKED! MAYBE PAYING A FLAT TAX IN ADVANCE WITH YEARLY REGISTRATION FEES WOULD BE APPROPRIATE.

par for the course. Give discounts to get people hooked and then charge them extra in the long run. So how much did that save you? Not to mention that "green energy" is the worst environmental polluter of all.

Music to my ears, I laughed out loud with this little ditty. All those dopes who bought EVs thinking they were so smart will now find out gas taxes are for everyone, even stupid people.

LMAO... electric vehicle fan boys deserve this shit for sure. "Bobby, (your driving coach begins to speak) you accelerated a little to fast for the speed you need to get to on this road....I am going to have to downgrade your 'efficient' driving score again. You don't want to get in the penalty zone again. do you?"

Well, Lee, it seems they don’t want your money that badly. If this keeps up, somebody will take the blame for deforestation. The banksters.

Definitely will be programmed to warn you to turn around if you don't get permit to venture out of your 15 min zone, else receive big fine and that will be out of your bank account before you arrive home!

I absolutely love it. Lol. Wokesters buy an electric vehicle thinking they are saving the planet when they are actually more environmentally destructive. They spend more for the car, they don’t save on the charge expense and waste more time, they pay more for repairs, they have less freedom, and now the government is gonna come back and charge them a per mile tax to make the gas tax back they thought they were saving. They deserve every all of it, too.😂

Respectfully, not everyone who drives an electric car is a “wokester”. Marginalizing each other from one external observation is rarely a valid conclusion.

You are right.... they are clueless dumb asses who have bought the hog wash that their electric vehicle (powered by a grid dependent of fossil fuels because "environmentally friendly" power generation is unreliable) is somehow better for the environment. Not sure where wokester and dumb ass intersects but I am sure fool can also be included in their description. How is that for "marginalization"?

Sorry. Everyone who drives an electric vehicle is an uninformed moron. Is that better?

Clown world rolls. On batteries built on child slavery and government stupidity. Fuelled by false belief and a dash of the ever-present virtue signalling of the wokeass drivers who, hiding behind their faucidiapers, drive to the digital gulag. Happily.

My natural gas company just informed me that it will no longer accept credit card auto-payment, and online credit or debit charges will be $3 per charge. Instead, they are looking to link direct to bank account ... and the saga continues.

My electric company just added $15 to my monthly bill because I refused their smart meter. I said I’ll happily send you the monthly reading, which they agreed to, but still wouldn’t drop the 15 bucks. So I said screw you, come check the meter yourselves and I built a locked privacy fence to block the access. This is gonna be fun. Bastards.

15 bucks? Your getting off cheap, I’m paying 30 bucks a month for refusing their surveillance meters. Then yesterday I get a notice from Duke that my current meter cannot be upgraded and that a manual reading would be necessary. Or have a new meter installed. Uh...nope nobody’s setting foot inside my house, period!

And better yet, my budget billing went from 203 bucks a month to 270??????? Say what??????

Like who in the hell can afford a hike like that?

I thank God for everyday I survive this horseshit.

Do you think though, that they will just cut service? Seems like it's just a matter of time, huh?

They can’t. A lot of people have inaccessible properties. They will just have to knock on my door or make arrangements to check it instead of just walking into my yard like they used to. A couple months ago they walked right past my 17-year-old daughter’s window after she had gotten out of the shower. That shit ain’t gonna happen anymore. I intend to make it as difficult as possible to get my $15 worth.
