How would drug research be conducted without big drug companies being stripped of the profits derived from sales?

A question that applies to any product or service!

Pretty complicated area, covering all sorts of things from "acting for the good of makind" to staying in business.

Pfizer has made over 100 billion in profits during a humanitarian crisis that could have been a species ending event and still could - maybe their vaccines ensured the deaths of billions, we son't know because the treatment was never tested properly. It is an experiment, with a test group of the entire population rather than a tiny portion of it.

Point is, Pfizer has at least five years of 20 billion a year in research resources to come up with another blockbuster drug - or a C19 vaccine that doesn't kill and maim and which creates sterilixing immunity. Is that enough? Would another company come up with a better answer with just 100 million bucks if not crowded out by Pfizer and the reguators?

So, there is a different answer to your question if there is LEVEL PLAYING FIELD AS OPPOSED TO THE CURRENT CORRUPT ONE.

Don't forget, Pfizer and Moderns did NT do most of the research for the formulatin of C19. For Pfizer it was BioNtech, who in turn used others for the different mechanism. By the time you get to maufacturing, Pfizer and Moderna are simply coordinating a supply chain and not directly responsible for ay of it. They are a drug marketing company not a drug manufacturing company.

So, the only motive for pharma is super profits via crappy research that results in harmful poorly manufactured drugs that count as "countermeasures"??

What is stopping a drug manufacturer making a safe drug and selling it in the billions of doses?

Drug companies already fund research with the profits from past "blockbuster" sales.

Start-up pharma cannot compete with that, so innovation and methods to evolve cheaper and higher quality research are froxen out.

Generics happen when the patent runs out anyway. The current set-up is for accelerated price gouging while the patent runs.

Besides - especially for drugs on the "countermeasures" list of drugs - there seems little quality control and the emphasis is definitely NOT on producing a safe drug. No high quaity research required, just a few mice.

Is there any room at all for people to develop safe drugs and who are not motivated by profit? Grants available for those who act for human

There was no funding for 20,000 strong IVM trials or HCQ trials. Why would that be? We know, right, super profits coming up ffor the mRNA injections!

I doubt that McCullough got US research funding for Natto kinase trials.

Why should profit be a motive at all if you are making people healthy rather than sick?

I don't see pharma products as any different from say coffee or beef or beans.

Not everyone can make or wants to make drugs or devices - same goes for beans and coffee and beef.

Healing people has always attracted payment - but it has also been a virtuous calling - not a "pay me or you die" equation.

Long answer! Apologies, short answer - there would be far less of an issue if profits were subject to competition and euqal opportunity!

What Ive heard about Wuhan, if true, is enough to sentence all associated providing provisions and funding in a lab that was almost as sterile as your dentists office and not nearly as secure… To a couple of decades of hard labor. Sure I’d outlaw free speech. Truth be told, that was what the war in Ukraine was about (well that and the DNC's Chinese laundry ops). Seriously what is a couple of more 100,000 dead Ruskis when you have already profited off the deaths of several million and many others untold with this force jab of poison. Criminal.

Well, I know the Biden administration in conjunction with Gavin Newscum formally approved of CHICOM bioweapons labs in California, in the middle of farm land. For months after it was in the local newspaper, and for months after the local health authorities had reported it to the CDC, the FBI, and the EPA, the Biden admin was continuing to cover it up. Meanwhile, Newscum was giving the lab TAX CREDITS (basically helping to fund the lab)!!!

After the story made national news, the EPA finally took action AFTER the lab had already released hundreds of field mice that had been "humanized" to be able to spread "cross-species" bioweapons. There are likely hundreds of OTHER Chicom bioweapons labs all over the U.S. right now.
