She also relies heavily on Katherine Watt's research, which seems pretty solid to me. KK should have debated this openly with them both before publishing her last article.
No problem, it is the downside of embedding reference links that are hardly ever opened by more than 98% of readers - I can't think of a better way without blowing up the articles to indigestible lumps!

Hate to see merits of either challenged before a discussion directly, with areas of contention shown with a for/against if unresolved.
