I guess I’m just getting old. Well, no guessing involved, 😢. But I seem to remember Australia as the land of kangaroos, koalas and real men, fiercely independent citizens. Crocodile Dundee.

Restricting gas to conserve energy or as punishment for breaking government dictates is much harder with gas than electricity. Gas requires manual shut off valve.

And all that that Australia is doing to refuse CO2 mean while China is assembling 80 coal fired power plants every year along with India doing the very same thing.

Hi Peter, gas is far more efficient and about 5 times less costly per unit of energy produced than electricity in the US. Where are the energy engineers? Waiting for a disaster of rationing due too little electricity available? Waiting for more people to “disappear”? This is insanity.

Yep! Our house has gas stove, gas oven, gas clothes dryer, gas heaters/furnace, and gas water heaters. If we had to use electricity for all of these, we literally wouldn’t be able to pay our bills!

I Heard about how awful things were in Lithuania for the people. Have you seen anything recently about it? Do you know if they’re completely out of restrictions and ridiculous mask mandates at this point?
