Heard on the Health Ranger Report (Mike Adams) that there is at least a temporary halt to the transporting of hazardous waste to Texas. No one wants that stuff in their state!
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said in a Feb. 23 statement, “[Under EPA guidance,] Norfolk Southern brought in large dump trucks to move contaminated soil to U.S. Ecology Wayne Disposal, a licensed hazardous waste disposal facility in Michigan. This will be a continuous effort to properly manage and safely dispose of the waste.
I called Sen. Cruz’s office this morning and they said they were aware of the issue and are in contact with federal people. Seemed to imply a vague “we know this is happening but we don’t know too much of what’s happening.”
Thanks PH. Filed under that bulging stack of "What could possibly go Wrong Next".
