11 million undocumented immigrant beggars, divided by $315 billion to get rid of them = $28,636.36 for each person deported. That seems like a HELLUVA LOT. Something here isn't adding up right!

Well, it is a net gain in the first year. Then it really seems to pay. Citizens should appreciate this even more as the years go on.

There is a difference between refugees, immigration, migration, and undocumented migration. People who have no useful skills are one thing. People who regard westerners as sub-human are quite another. The west can absorb large numbers of say educated Syrians, Ukrainians. It cannot absorb young African / Middle Eastern men who have been taught only to hate. There is no comparison to 1949 Italian / German immigrants to the masses we see running grooming gangs. Next issue are slaves brought in such as large numbers of Venezuelan woman forced into sex trade. This mess is not an accident. It was arranged.

This is a country of immigrants--like everyone here except the Native Americans and Mexicans whose land was stolen from them in the Southwest. So this immigrant xenophobia is ludicrous. What this is all about is racism--pure and simple. It is only darker skinned people what are being attacked. The crime rate is nowhere's as high as the reactionary, racist forces claim. In fact many of the larger cities report much lower crime.

What is not looked at is the amount of work that immigrants do. They also are better at paying taxes while knowing they will not receive any benefits. And they work for less than Americans taking the lowest paid work. Deporting these people is not only ignorant and racist, it is cruel and completely without logic in terms of the country's economy. So please stop your bigotry which in fact is quite antagonistic to our Constitution and laws

yes, but NONE of that money will come back to the pockets of the American people. And many other countries have lost their American "funding" except one, that one, actually had its funding increased. so all of this recovered money....where is it going?? and why if we have just recovered so much money from so many places, why are prices not going down?? gas is up in my area, eggs 10 dollars and shit....I won't even go into all the other ridiculous pricing.... well, how about an article on that...you know, show us the money....
