Unfortunately our debt is really our biggest issue as if it continues it will lead to our demise. The annual interest on our current $37 trillion is $1.5 trillion at current rates. Everyone is going to need to make sacrifices for us to have a future. All expenditures need to be on the table. I am on social security and Medicare but I know there is probably a considerable amount of fraud and we need to create some provisions to eliminate double and triple dippers. Also individuals above a certain level should opt out for our future.

"$892 billion was spent this year alone just to service the interest on that debt—a staggering figure that dwarfs some entire federal budgets.”

May seem like a brainless question but, just who gets that $892 billion dollars? Has anyone ever gone on the paper trail hunt?
