Hi Peter,

It is very hard to get a decent amount of paid subscribers and keep them.

You bring very pertinent articles and work to the attention of so many, informing us of matters that are critical.

You are also very generous to cross-post others' work.

Thanks for all you do and congratulations on your successes thus far!

I don’t mean this to be unkind…but to express what some of us may FEEL. You have made an entire article about YOU. We’re here for what we learn and what we comment about, most after doing our own research to respond intelligently and with a purpose…to make a difference…to make things better.

Everywhere on the internet every darned day we’re pumped for likes and MONEY…and it OFTEN seems like we’re being shamed for not liking influencers well enough.

We respond to what we respond to. That would seem to me to be an evident FACT.

But it seems influencers think we’re not good enough to know our own minds. You even compare yourself to others, rather than your own content.

I’ve never seen your posts before, Whiskey. It may just be this hit me wrong as an introduction to your work.

But you should know something about this “audience.” I don’t hand out likes like they’re your candy. They’re not. Our likes encourage research and connecting-dots-performance. That doesn’t seem to be too top of mind in posts sometimes.

I don’t mean to be mean. I’m just tired of being shamed for my opinions. You’re disappointed in me? Well, I’m disappointed in a lot of influencers. Believe it or not, we “out here” for information.

I wish I could suuport you and a few others. I'm in Canada, and most all of us are in pretty desperate shape.

And no, I don't think it's all about mortgages as the article cited, though that's part of it dor some people. It's that the rest of us are barely able to afford anything - even food.

I have never seen it this bad here. Ever. And it keeps getting worse.

Surprised you don't have more of an audience in the UK.

But I think everybody's suffering.
