This is an important topic. Religion in general is declining and that is primarily because it relies on ignorance to sustain its acceptance. Muslim growth is largely attributed to ignorant populations. Mankind continues to mature collectively and religion has less appeal. I believe people are getting comfortable with "i don't know, neither do you... and that's okay." We needed stories to provide comfort and predictability and that's why religion was started. For example, Egypt has a population of 80 million but can only support 30 million.
