Senior Russian military personnel must have shown Putin the relative strengths of NATO’s defensive and offensive capabilities – how much they have left after they have severely depleted their arsenals by deploying them to Ukraine.
I think Russia has very little choice. If missiles are authorized to strike deeply into Russia, they must return fire to protect themselves.
As Greg noted, however, word has surfaced that Austin/Pentagon have delivered two ultimatums to Biden.
(1) They told Israel that they will not join them in fighting Hezbollah or Iran unless they initiate war on Israel.
(2) They completely refused long-range missiles into Russia.
I hope this report is factual and true.
If Europe somehow manages, via UK, to send long-range missiles into Russia, then Europe and UK must suffer the consequences. I'm appalled at their eagerness to initiate this conflict with Russia, and quite honestly, if they suffer from their own actions, I will have very little sympathy. They appear completely disassociated from reality.
Westenra has linked Dr. Busby's comments that cold fusion nukes exist and that they may have been used by Israel in Lebanon and Ukraine in Russia (the huge explosions seen). Perhaps these "tactical" nukes will be used.
I have no sympathy for Europe or England--except the innocent people who don't support these policies and will likely suffer. If the situation comes to such a point, I only ask selfishly that van der Leyen, Schwab, Starmer, and the rest of war-mongering tribe be taken out. Russia would be doing the world a favor.

If I were Putin
1) I would turn to the Almighty God Jehovah, the Creator, life-giver and TRUE King of this whole world.
2) I would pray to Jehovah God for his guidance, wisdom and direction.
3) I would sue for peace.
All nations SHOULD do this!
