Think of it this way: those with big followings have usually been on substack for much longer than you and many have advantage of being known media personalities and probably have a team helping them produce output. Substack should be shining a light on people like you with both literary and mathematical skills, capable of in-depth statistical analysis and presenting your findings in a readable and thought-provoking way. For SubStack, I am thinking it will be bigger than Facebook in two years. Not sure what my "investment" will be worth or whether there will be a "dark market" for contributions it has received. Sort of like - for each 2,200 contribution, the bid is 5,800 and the offer is 6,000 bucks!

I agree! Amazon has something similar with their all stars global select fund. It's how they cornered the book market but as they blacklisted my book I can no longer support them. Facebook is a basket case and a shadow of its former self. I stopped using it except for marketplace and to check up on some friends. Once you see the game of them manipulating visibility of posts ruining all proper feedback signals you can't unsee it. I'm planning a post about that exact subject matter today
