The “mad science” of “Net Zero” – all cost and no benefit - windmills from one horizon to another

More “green” than the Amazon forest – 5% increase in 20 years. I wonder how the UN IPCC factors this into its “there is no need to consider clouds” climate modelling?
So, growing leaves that remove CO2 and provide oxygen that we need to breathe is being used “over there”, whilst “over here” the brainiacs want to cover massive areas of leafy land ad install forests of wind turbines and plantations of solar panels that produce zero oxygen, in the hope they will provide CO2-less energy. Sounds like the logic of a maniac.
The costs to the US to achieve “New Zero” are as much as 50 trillion bucks in the 35 years or so up until 2050. That’s around the entire Federal income tax take of a few trillion buck a year.
No-one endorsing this massive spending spree has bee able to quantify the impact on the GLOBAL change in CO2 (which they laughably still call “carbon” the solid, not carbon dioxide – the gas”. Every try making a footprint out of a gas? Pretty difficult, it keeps getting blown about”.) let alone the change in temperature in a GLOBAL context.
50 trillion bucks for maybe half a degree lower in 25 years? Imagine the improvements in living standards that could be had with the abolition of the Federal income tax instead! All taxation is theft so getting rid of it is a massive social good!

Need to double the size of the transmission grid in fifteen years and double it again in the following 15 years!
Capture 1 billion tons of CO2 every year! Injected int o geological formations! How is that environmentally friendly or doesn’t the earth itself count!
300 million acres of forestry management might take half a billion tons of Co2?
Get rid of town and country planning and replace with “super city” planning? Wipe-out!
2.5 trillion bucks by 2040 – projects have to be “de-risked”??? Hahahaha! There have beemany investment projects promising infinite returns – but for “no risk” – this means spending only, no returns.
Moonshot driven policies, nan blah blah.
Well, those are all guesses!

Land grabs coming right up! Already we see States like Michigan removing discretion for zoning of land into the central planning at State level.
Nothing to do with the wishes of voters – everything to do with the removal of democratic principles in favour of the one-party State system.

A quick look at land requirement for solar energy- note this may or may not displace the existing land use for cities, farms and factories etc. There isn’t much about, for example, converting and “Badlands” or deserts or swamps etc.
